NWR Tales S9 Ep.10: The Missing Kippers

- It had been months since Bill and Ben had played a trick on Toby and everytime the twins see him, Toby just ignores them. One day, they were told to look after the harbour yard after Salty had broken down and Porter being away at Knapford and so Bill and Ben were called, much to Toby's dismay. Later that day, the twins were told that they were to take some fish vans from The Flying Kipper to the various stations on Edward's branch line, however the kippers had gone missing!

I must say this episode is one of my favorite's and one of your bests! The writing and the characterization were really well done! Plus, we get to see one of Toby's flaws that isn't shown in other media, his temper and tendency to hold grudges. He may be old and wise , but even he has flaws. He even scared me when he met the twins at the harbor. It was like a grandparent speaking to their grandchildren after they got in trouble.
Honestly, I was shocked at his behavior towards the twins, and I genuinely felt sorry for them! And those two are some of the most troublesome engines in the series, and you made me _feel_ for them!
Toby and his tendency to hold on to grudges really needs to be fixed, we've seen this when he had a grudge against Thomas when he fibbed in season two even when he learned his lesson. Not going to lie, I was outright _angry_ with him for accusing Bill and Ben of stealing the kippers and insulting them. It's like he became another engine when angry! A part of me wanted BoCo and Edward to scold him for his behavior! Even let the Fat Controller reprimand him. Not going to lie, It would of been interesting to see him scold an engine who hardly causes trouble...
Overall, this episode was really good. And the music at the beginning fit the mood perfectly!
That was a great story. Bill and Ben trying to earn Toby's respect again and showing they can handle the fish trucks. Excellent idea to have Rosie in the story and I thought it was nice to see Bill and Ben prove their innocence when they got accused of wrong doing.
The best way to start October is with a new episode of NWR Tales 🔥👍🏽

i liked watching this episode because during it Bill and Ben catch the people who had been stealing some of the fish from the flying Kipper and become friends with Toby again.

This was brilliant, with a few rewrites this would have been a perfect replacement for the Missing Coach, you always write these in such a classic way and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next
