    5:00 different types of instances (multipurpose, or machine with lots of storage, cpu machines etc)
    7:00 instance storage is temporary storage (when instanced is shut down it is lost) unless we have another storage service like EBS elastic block storage
    7:40 can create more than one instance and put them in an auto scaling group, which manages that number of instances based on number of requests coming in
    10:00 EBS storage is attached to the instance, will be available even when you shut the instance down.

    Hope to see soon some "real-life" project using JS (node, react...), similar to shopping-cart.

    Hello Maximilian, your videos have been a great guide and really helpful. I have a question for you. I want to create a EC2 to live stream videos that I run 24 hours a day on a specific website or upload them in any way and connect them to the website in question. Could you let me know how I could achieve this through AWS? I would really appreciate any type of guidance you can provide. Thank you in advance.

    • @academind
      @academind  7 років тому

      I'm glad to hear you're enjoying my videos on AWS! Unfortunately, that's really a bit too specific and complex to be solved in a YT comment. And I also don't offer any personal coaching right now, so I recommend reaching out to some AWS solution architect.

    Hi, thank you for your videos. Will you cover elasticsearch and SQS services ? I already use EC2, S3 and CloudWatch but I want to use SQS in my project but I have no idea on how I can achieve this.

    • @academind
      @academind  7 років тому +1

      I'm glad to hear you're liking it! I don't know if I'll cover these services to be honest. I'll probably look into serverless next

    Hello Max. I'm interested in buying this course (I have 5 other your curses). When was the last update for this course? It is up to date? Or near up to date? :)

    • @academind
      @academind  5 років тому +1

      You mean the AWS Serverless course? As for all my courses I keep it up-to-date so everything you learn still applies, the user interface in some videos changed a bit though (this doesn't affect the concepts taught).

    • @kubaw2882
      @kubaw2882 5 років тому

      @@academind thank you Max for the response. Yes, the course that you mentioned is this one that I want to buy. So I’m happy that it’s up to date and I’m very excited that I will learn another things from your course! :)
