Rule of thumb is, as soon as you kill somebody in a position, just wait maybe 2 or 3 seconds in the same position because that guy may have another dude just behind it.
You are phenomenal with that BAR. Also I appreciate the info on what you commented on somebody else’s comment below about leaning left while crouching, maximally reducing the silhouette. Overall awesome gameplay. Really appreciate the upload.
Last night I used the BAR for the first time In a while and holy shit it was a good time. I treat it like a semi auto for most scenarios but the 2 shot kill makes CQB awesome as well
This is sick to watch, my gameplay is generally just dying over and over. I keep downloading the game again, having a terrible time and then remembering why I left lmao.
It is the nature of the game to have a series of bad runs, but then you get that epic one with moments like those seen here. It's not a reflexive fast shooter as much as it is learning where the enemy is coming from and catching them in crossfire. That kind of knowledge takes time to develop.
In these kinds of matches comms need to be both clear and specific. Also, we do use the comms in-game + discord to coordinate between different squads, so considering the amount of people involved, these comms are not really cluttered as one could think.
Glad to hear man! You can always join organized groups and, if rostered, participate in those matches. My community is called ESPT and we are the owners of Garrisons & Whiskey server. Our discord is: discord.gg/gRTX7t9m
Good gameplay and good communication. Is the "lean" really that useful? I overwrote the buttons with other actions because I thought no one would need or use them
The lean is super useful because it actually makes your silhouette way smaller. The best lean is the crouch left lean, because it exposes way less of your torso. Because of that, you will notice I prefer engagements leaning left rather than leaning right.
I started using the lean bc I see everyone who gets kills uses it and it definitely helps. It easy to lean and shoot or lean and look than to walk out there n get shot almost instantly lloll
At 2:18 how in the hell do you know that there is an op around the corner that is not visible between those sandbags?.. you can't hear it either.... how does that work?
As @nathanhavens7909 mentioned, it is all about sound and identifying that radio going off. I don't really play this game with crazy loud sounds, just the default audio settings. That is another reason why having clear comms during matches does make life so easy to identify footsteps, OPs and garrisons. Another play was at ua-cam.com/video/lZKbekCdops/v-deo.htmlsi=vERLBHIIEsaIFtaB&t=254 when I was able to hear the satchel getting armed on the side of the house. That immediately becomes priority as our OP is in range of that satchel, with kills going my way and the help of my peers holding the alley, I was able to take that out.
Feel free to join my team's discord and interact with the members there. You can hangout with us and you can get to know more of the competitive scene and players that make it happen. -> discord.gg/SFDwrm4d
Don't bother, most these clans are terrible and require you to attend meetings, have admins that are power-tripping about every little thing, extremely left leaning with their political beliefs and openly promote socialism.

The idea of that satchel was to get rid of our OP on the close by court yard. Also because the enemy knew we were using that house to prevent them to get control back. With that satchel they would ensure the house would be empty and also the satchel range could get our OP and stop our reinforcements. That was actually a really smart play by them.
Oh, I see. I wasn't aware that satchel ignored wall collision. In that case, that's a very sound way to clean up CQB spaces. Thanks for that.@@polloloco4you
haha, most of times those plays of taking garrisons in comp matches will kill you either way, because multiple people just hone in your direction both to kill you and to rebuild the garrison, so yeah, it's kinda of a death sentence, which is worth it because those people that are coming back are leaving the front door open for us to push and gain territory.
I love this game but had a wild thought. If they could do a tournament where X amount of players on each side, no respawn, generals etc can only see the map and be informed of what's happening and use their critique skills of where to send troops, supplies (like Risk). No garries allowed, anyone without a mic can't play, and if you die, you can watch the battle (cinematic style) but must stay on to the end to earn points of your squad/ country. This would be the most intense game ever played for sure.
Also do you not usually "hold breath" to aim and just learned the sway of your gun and move counter to it? Sounded like you were hitting a lot of keyboard buttons while shooting, but usually not aiming more.
Because he had the garrison locked but could still hear a radio. That means there was an additional spawn besides the garry. A locked garry will not make the radio broadcast sound.
I knew about the OPs since I was in the broken truck, because I got 2 kills around that corner. This, specially during the opener phases of a match indicates that you have a spawn point towards that direction. Of course I wouldn't know about the existence of 2 OPs in their exact areas, but due to experience you know where most likely OPs will be (where you have more cover from the main attack angles of the enemy). Regarding hold breath, yes, I will hold my breath most times I aim down sights, however for really close encounters, I don't really hold. Unconsciously though, I will always hold the breath when shooting.
It slaps!!! But also you need to make sure to control the spray and get comfortable with the ranges to switch from spraying and taping it instead of holding the trigger. Either way, it is a beast.
BAR is dead serious one of the worst weapons in the game IMO in comparison to other weapons and you make it look like a monster lol maybe i’ll have to try it out again
I mean, you get some advantage with that, but would only be an advantage if you compound the timings and whatnot. Makes even more numb to play arty that way imo.
This comp tournament is the American Premier League. In this tournament there are a few rules that need to be followed. One of them is only 1 arty gun per team is allowed. Also, I was playing on the flanks of their team, so usually you don't get tracked by the enemy arty too much.
May be a controversial opinion but I think historical war games shouldn’t have tournaments or esports since it’s kind of disrespectful to the real history
I see your reasoning but I think serious tournament play is *less* disrespectful than casual play. Our great grandparents didn't die on Normandy beach so that some 12 year old can shout nazi slogans for laughs while playing as a German soldier.
"What it looks like" or "how it looks" not "How it looks like". I get that language changes, but this one has been popping up absofuckinglutely EVERYWHERE, and it sounds absolutely knuckledraggingly ignorant. Like it's not even an adoption of new mechanisms, it's just patently poor grammar. Wholly convinced it's from letting 80 million pre-teens talk to each other online and reinforce their shit english.
Yeah, I understand you. There is much to improve on the game, but what keeps me coming back to it is the atmosphere it gives you in those competitive scenarios, specially against against good teams like in the video, because they make you play the game in a way more strategical and methodical way than in Public servers.
These competitive games are the perfect environments where this game shines for me. From comms to setting a strategy prior to the match and see it unfold...just brilliant.
very different from my usual gameplay. Mine looks more like a walking/ dying simulator :D
Always keep flanking, the 3 minutes of extra walking always get me kills lol
Rule of thumb is, as soon as you kill somebody in a position, just wait maybe 2 or 3 seconds in the same position because that guy may have another dude just behind it.
Go watch a few videos on warfare using infantry it will help improve how you approach the game
It’s like real life keep down keep moving be patient
Be the squad leader and set the OP and build garrisons. So you stop playing walking simulator
3:11 "He's coming right on my body" 🤣

😂
man, you got to have good eyes to spot the opponent.
this game reminds me of the realism mod i used to play on cod2
I have good eyes naturally and playing on 2k helps a lot to detect some movements down the road.
Hell Let Loose eSports truly is something
Next level atmosphere my dude!

Appreciate the feedback man!
Imagine being an actual soldier in 1944 fighting in France and you see that tiger rolling down the street towards the house you’re in. Fuck.
That would be scaaary indeed!
Definitely one of the best BAR gameplay's I've seen. Well done.
Last night I used the BAR for the first time In a while and holy shit it was a good time. I treat it like a semi auto for most scenarios but the 2 shot kill makes CQB awesome as well
im just drooling at the comms and teamwork UGHHHHH
This is what a FPS should be about. Not mindless running/jumping around like a headless cricket
Good stuff man, you were ripping through them!
Just steadily and calmly sweeping the streets :P
Nicely done Sir!!! I love this game. It's hard not to play every night.
It is engaging, specially when you are playing with squads that communicate and play well together
Very nice vid, intense communication as well ! Coul you share your setting, ?

I’m just finding out there was hell let loose tournaments (I’m a new player) I’d would actually enjoy this
Great video, great play!
Thanks man! I'm glad you liked it :-)
Man I can’t hit anything with the BAR
What teams need players? I got a couple hundred hours and I’d love to play competitively.
How do I get into competitive matches?
Amazing gameplay!
Thanks! :)
Good coms i love it!

looks like real life tbh
It is really immersive on these organized games.
@@polloloco4you i wish all casual games were this cool everyone is shooting, communicating, not like an empty server
While I'm over here getting WASHED.
PS: I had no idea you could disarm satchels. I thought maybe you could but I didn't know for sure.
how do i get involved in stuff like this
imagine playing hll e sports shit is crazy
I used to be very into the esport of Insurgency the first game, and it was fucking amazing this gives me the same vibes. Good times.

Yes, rebind your 'lean' hotkeys and start using them. You are showing less of your body so it is harder to spot you.
The lean is super useful because it actually makes your silhouette way smaller. The best lean is the crouch left lean, because it exposes way less of your torso. Because of that, you will notice I prefer engagements leaning left rather than leaning right.

you should do PS - less lone ranger stuff and more cohesion. I think Squad OPS does a really good 1-life every week that I love watching
SICK.
Jeez 84 kills. I’m lucky to get 6 haha. What gun/class was that?
That was the BAR that you can find in the Automatic Rifleman and the Machine Gunner class for the Allies.
What I would give to play with anyone close to this level of communication
Just join a clan

wtf was that purple colum at 4:50?
I believe that was either a render bug from the GPU or a visual glitch from the game.

Mine gotta be the M1 Garand. Don't know, but I like its sights better.
What was the point of that satchel? Was it to hit anyone unfortunate enough to be at the wrong place at the right time or some other reason?
Im asking my self the same question

my spin on this idea is it is one life per capture point. each game youd get 5 lives.
