HAPPY EASTER WEEK ahead. The Orthodox Easter is 5th May. Greece 450 dracmas[25 million printed][blue and open blue] issued 1st July 1948, there's also an 800 drachma[16 million printed] [issued 5th November 1950] of the same stamp but violet and green colour. Both stamps depict a map of the island of KASOU[1824] and fregate. Both stamps are from a 23 stamp series issued to a definitive set RESTORATION OF THE DODECANESE ISLANDS TO GREECE

I am looking for the new Soul Bellow Commemorative. But couldn't get my hands on it as I am not from US. So sad. Really like the stamp. :(

Perfins hurt the collector value simply because most people see them as damaged due to the fact that they were changed by action of private ownership. They are essentially defaced, versus being altered by official USPS action. So yes, they are less valuable simply because the demand for them is less. Imagine if a coin were hand-stamped with a company logo. It certainly would be considered damaged even if not circulated.

As a UNC alum who was at Carolina during the 1982 championship, I’m going beg to differ. Dean Smith will always be #1 on my list!

What a fun time to be there! I was in Chicago in the early/late 80s... great time to be a basketball fan...

I remember vividly when Norte Dame ended UCLA and “The Wizard of Westwoods’” 88 game winning streak there no less, 50 years ago on January 19, 1974, with Digger Phelps coaching the Irish. Andrian Dantley’s jumper from the corner and the “Giant Ginger” Walton crumbled. Lived in Cleveland, Ohio at the time a mere 17 year old. Ah memories. Thank you again
