I tried the exact same build few days ago. Its fun and works against plebs in cyro but simply lack dps against decent pvpers and duels always result in a draw. Now that i think about it, With any setup Its the same story for the most of the time nowaydays😂
ye always hard to duel good players with an openworld set up ;) some top players like to "expose" 1vX players by killing them in duels with their bis optimized duel specs :D i always wonder how these players would perform in a fair, proper duel with same class + set up ...
To this day I still don't know why zos do not make healing reduction by 65% with battle spirit. Fights are more fun when either player can eventually lose, not fighting for eternity before one sides potion runs out. Now days in any 1v1 is all about resource management rather than the actual fight. I even tried with a friend that is more skillful than me and have him on a double dmg set build where as me on balance sustain builds. Results are as you expect all I have to do is turtle the fight until he runs out of resource and I just combo him back with ease. Given that's the case why would anyone build into full dmg when going balance sustain is the way to go for solo builds?
@@jasonchui111 pvp scene gone down hill after the hybrid changes imo. Before then sustain was very hard you needed to be very good player to survive and it made 1vX possible and wp/sp damages were generaly low so healing numbers were aswell. Hybrid changes also killed the class identy now everbody has same gear also with scribing everybody has same skills aswell😂
@@esolucacash I’ve logged some numbers if you’re interested. Against a vanilla MagSorc (no scribing, group member buffs etc) you gain 4050 penetration + 80 spell damage from the 5 piece bonus. In group v group or 1 v X I have capped at around 9k pen from the 5 piece and 190 spell damage. Keep in mind that the spell damage is also buffed by your multipliers like major and minor sorcery and continuous attack. The 1-4 piece being all weapon and spell damage is also very nice.
I'm sure you've been asked this already, but with the Undeath nerf passive coming up, do you think you/others will still be running Vampire? If so, assuming you're running stage 1, do you still think stuff like Atronach mundus or sustain cp/glyphs/etc will be needed as much, since your sustain should be a little better?
good question, need to test it first on live server! but sustain will be obviously better in cost of a tankyness, maybe protective trait will be a thing duno yet

I feel like most builds are either pure power with a lot of squish or no power at all and a million health

I’ve comboed this with Force of nature and and sharpened weapons, quite comfortably hit 25-30k effective pen depending on the people I’m fighting

druid is nice for sustain, didn´t test class one, but oblivion dmg one hurts rly bad!

also there will be nerf for script that gives 1000 magicka and stamina, now its very popular even in PvP
If i don't have the scribing skill yet, what would you use instead? Or is it a must have?
elemental weapon also works, but then you need to use spell power potions

Question - a Dawn's Wrath ability (beam) grants major sorcery for 20 seconds. Doesn't it make it redundant to add that script to your Shocking Soul?
it delivers minor sorcery not major
