Chong Wei and Lin Dan is quite simply the most intense and competitive rivalry ever. How many rival athletes compete in an Olympics Final more than once? i would like to see a documentary on the two of them.
Great player and nice person like LCW deserves a gold medal. But he cares too much and takes too much stress from his people, country and family. That is not fair and feel sad for him. Hope one day he can enjoy badminton just as a game.
This video is kinda touching. Whoever blamed LCW so much for losing that match so badly, watch his interview before you judged anything. LCW is one of the badminton deserves respect as his hard work made him today's top level. He inspired many people with his enthusiasm. Lin Dan is a legend and the best badminton player ever in badminton history. Facing him (the best, fastest and strongest Lin Dan) in 2008 was such a huge pressure. Looking forward for his match with Lin Dan in 2012 Olympic.
Such important psychological preparations before the great big event, especially the Olympic final is of great paramount significance. Here the coach should be the one to prepare and oversee that his player received the absolute best peace of mind and body before the great battle. I would love to do this job, because I know how and have successfully executed it.
@ipohkengyeah In terms of skills and strengths, the best mighty Lin Dan was in 2008 Olympic. If Lin Dan can be superbly dangerous given the fact that he's naturally talented and stronger than LCW. Look at Lin Dan's muscles in 2008. LCW proves that physical limitation and less talented are not a barrier to success. I give full credit for that as he worked really really hard as I've seen him so many years and I never like LCW until his recent tremendous improvement against Lin Dan.
@ipohkengyeah I'm a fan of both LCW and Lin Dan. I'm proud of how LCW has improved to today level to close the gap with Lin Dan. Luck is always a factor in everything. Put this aside. I would agree LCW never has the mentality strength as Lin Dan (proven in World Championship 2011) where LCW was supposed to win. He played safe in the end and lost despite having few match points.
can u see how much ppl is in lcw house when the match?!dats why his pressure way more than lin dan!i dont think lin dan will hv all the reporters in his house wif his parent!!
in topsport there a few people with more or less the same skill at the top. One single person is very rare. But in that group the mentally stongest one that match/day wins. Saying it's luck is a slap in the face of the winner. Saying this shows you never were at the top of you sport.
ini interview dari negara china, kenapa pula mereka nak berbahasa melayu? cuba kau tonton interview chong wei di msia. bahasa melayu dia lancar dan deras bagai sungai rajang

What language is this? Mandarin?
It's a huge bummer for me that I cant understand any of the badminton players interviews
but late but yes
He is of Malaysian Chinese descent
Pretty sure his family were originally from Guangxi or some Southern province
@@danw6109 most likely guangdong or fujian. guangxi is pretty rare
How is he saying so many words and so small translation text?
Yet another language I'll never be able to speak... :-(
Great interview!
