Thank you so much for this beautiful video. 🎄🧑🎄☃️👍
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Amazing video! I really love seeing your passion for reading come out. Your answers were so well thought out and mentioned some books I'd never heard of that you've now got me interested in; especially 'And Put Away Childish Things'. A past (American) English teacher of mine loves British humor in movies/tv, and he reads a lot of English authors. I'll definitely bring that one up the next time I see him! As for Red Rising, I'm starting part 4 tonight! Life got in the way again! (I was binging a ton of booktube videos instead of reading)
Cheers for watching, it was a really cool tag to do.
And Put Away Childish Things was a great read, I listened to the audiobook which was narrated by the author, it's a quick read too so perfect for reading inbetween things.
I've been so busy with work and other stuff in the last week or so, I've barely read anything.
Take care my friend.
Festive greetings 🌟
Yuletide greetings, hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
So, so lovely! Love the walk and great answers ❤
Thanks for watching Nicole, glad you enjoyed it. Pat put a great tag together.
I'm slowly catching up on my tags!
Oh, wow, what a festive and lovely video! Thank you so much for sharing your holiday experiences with us so we can live vicariously through you. Loved hearing your answers to the prompts. I hope you have a joyful holiday season.
Hi Jen, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It was lovely seeing all the decorations in such a wonderful old building.
Wishing you a merry Christmas.
John, this is such a beautiful video! Thank you so much for doing my tag. Your responses are just delightful! I have actually just started dabbling a bit in the horror genre and just discovered Grady Hendrix. I’ve just recently bought My Best Friend’s Exorcism after hearing several people here talk about it. You’re convincing me further to get on with reading it. I’ve also just received Legends and Lattes as a gift, and I’m really looking forward to reading that one. Thank you again, John, for this wonderful version of the tag. I’m going to share your video on my channel’s community page. Merry Christmas, friend.
Hi Pat, thank you so much for your lovely comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the video, it was a really interesting tag to do.
I've read 3 novels by Grady Hendrix and so far My Best Friends Exorcism has been my favourite, I hope you enjoy it and have a great experience on your journey into horror.
Legends and Lattes is just delightful, I love every word in that book, it's like the story jumps of the page and gives you a hug.
Have a lovely Christmas Pat 🎄
First time watching one of your videos. Wonderful. Very cozy and friendly. Thanks! 😊❤
Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm glad you enjoyed it, it was a fun one to make.
Your video creation & editing is fabulous, geez, you put together a dazzling video - I love your work. And, you always spotlight such interesting books, new treasures to uncover. You're a gem, John!
Hey Phillip, hope you're well?
I think I got lucky and picked an editing program that I get on with. I forgot my notes today and my editing software earned it's keep, there were more outtakes than good ones 😂
Cheers for watching and commenting, you're a star!
@@DisquietandDragons: I love your work. I've just given you a big shoutout in my video review of 'We Have Always Lived in the Castle'. Thanks for the inspiration to get into Gothic & horror, I'm really enjoying these new reading paths.
@apoetreadstowrite I'm about halfway through that video, I love the way you talk about books. The shoutout was so kind. I've been so busy the last week or so but I'm hoping to get caught up with booktube next week.
@@DisquietandDragons: It's a very busy time of year for most people, I quite understand, hope you have a wonderful year end.
Wonderful Video John! Love the Christmas decorations, especially the indoor ones. 🎄🎅Excellent responses, I still need to read Grady Hendrix. An adult version of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, sounds interesting. Readalongs are lots of fun!
Cheers Cliff, glad you liked the video.
Wightwick Manor is a beautiful old building, I love it there. In the main hall there was a lady playing Christmas songs on a grand piano, it was so festive.
I really enjoy Grady Hendrix, just enough comedy to make it fun but still very much horror, hope you enjoy his books if you give them a try.
Definitely, readalongs are a blast.
Thanks for doing the tag and mentioning me. I love the tour. The inside parts made me think what Christmas celebrations must have been like in the past. I have not read Grady Hendrix. I should change that. No better advice than to comment on people's videos. As a fellow introvert, I have to fight a little internal resistance to commenting. Going forward, I want to try to comment on most videos I watch
Hey Stuart, cheers for watching.
Yeah it was a beautiful building and it felt so festive. I bet Christmas was such a grand affair in homes like that.
I think you will enjoy Grady Hendrix, he has a new novel out next year all about witches.
I've been slipping a bit with regards to commenting, December has been hectic, once I get to the 27th it should be plain sailing so I'll be able to catch up 🙂
@@DisquietandDragons Life gets in the way. I'm glad it will soon be getting less hectic for you
Speaking of joy, your vids are always a joy dude 🎄
Cheers dude, that comment just hit an old metal head in the feels!
