- Gone, but never forgotten. Lisa Marie Presley's life was honored with a public memorial at Graceland on Sunday, where loved ones paid their respects to the late singer-songwriter. Fans gathered outside the famed estate and Lisa Marie's family and famous friends including mom Priscilla Presley, friend Sarah Ferguson, and music superstars Alanis Morissette, Billy Corgan and Axl Rose, paid tribute to her memory with powerful speeches and performances.

I met him in the early 90s at this restaurant Steven Spielberg opened called Dive. I was brave enough to approach him on my way to the bathroom. To my surprise there was nothing intimidating about him. He was kind and took his time speaking to me. No cell phones back then...a nicer time. I could see why Lisa loved him. Rest well darling girl with your dad and son!❤

I don't cry often however today's memorial service for Lisa Marie was so emotional especially the tributes by Alanis Morissette and Axl Rose. I found myself tearing up .. Lisa Marie felt like she was our sister our daughter and our friend. RIP

Just read Lisa's daughter Riley & her husband just had a baby girl recently. Makes this all even sadder.
Lisa’s passing seems to creep into my thoughts off and on since it happened and I have to say,
I’m always hit with a certain amount of grief and sadness.
I’m praying she is at peace and that her loved ones find the strength to get through this time of such an overwhelming loss.
If her death is hitting me this way, I can’t possibly imagine how her children, Mother, other family members and friends,are grieving, as unlike me, just a fan from afar, those ppl were alongside her in her real and everyday life.

I was born 25 min from Tupelo, Ms… where Elvis was born… I also headed to Memphis when I was a teenager.. it was great back in those days… I moved along too & ended up in LA.. worked at Barney’s on Rodeo drive in Bev hills.. Lisa Marie came in one day .. I’ll never forget.. I wanted to tell her I was from her neck of the woods but didn’t want to bother her.. wish I had said something now… I’m sure she would have been nice.. RIP precious 😇😇

I am so sad for Priscilla because those who are gone would not go through the grief. Priscilla already experienced the grief for the dearh of the love of her life and had to chew the greif that her daughter go through for the death of her father. Continually the sorrow and depression followed her all the way and hardly hit by the death of her beloved grandson. In all of that Priscilla had to see all of that and be effected by these events. Hopefully she could live long enough to see something good happen in the lives of her three grand daughters. Rest in peace Lisa Marie.

Rest in eternal peace now dear girl. You've not had it easy, no matter what the trust fund says. Fame and fortune are fleeting and exhausting. You will be remembered by your loved ones and fans. Lifecycles are so fickle now, people dying left right and center but they will continue to only ever, really, impact the lives of the few that truly loved them. Blink of an eye and the next day it's some one else whose earthly light had been extinguished. Not cynical but honest. And each death is so damm sad. I pray that we are reunited with our loved ones who have gone before. Gives me peace, faith helps, it sure doesn't hurt. At least I feel that way...

Lisa Presley, a human being just like the rest of us, who may have been born luckier than most of us, but at the end of the day, wanted to be able to live a normal life like us.
