Every time a racing game is said to look incredibly realistic, it's all about rain and droplet effects blocking the crappy graphics and textures underneath. That being said, this game/mod does look very good even on a sunny day. :)
Only thing is there really isnt wny crappy textures in this game? I mean there much worse out there so i wouldnt really say this is a valid argument for f1😂
Can't believe the devs couldn't think to make the drops on the car move. That bothered me in F1 22, thought they'd have sorted it for this one. Stands out like a sore thumb to me in an otherwise beautiful looking game.
what's annoying is without this constant effort to improve graphics, these games would actually by now be amazing! I was pretty happy with the graphics in 2016. Leave it alone. Spend 5 years developing ground breaking AI instead. Imagine different drivers with different characteristics and actually fighting with them like they were real drivers. Instead the graphics improve and the AI still does the same wierd stuff year after year, are easy to keep behind just by defending gently etc etc.
You all talk about the rain droplets and stuff but no one is mentioning that it's like the cars drive on a silk smooth track with no bumps or anything...And the drivers sit perfectly still and just turn the wheel left and right.
This doesn't look like real life. This looks like the car camera footage, which is a different matter. The eye adaptation and dynamic range is unbeaten.
What's up with the haze and blur effect in the daytime? I thought it was supposed to have insanely sharp graphics? Makes me feel like I don't have 20-20 vision. 😑
They have a full year to update graphics and animations. It's not like they need to change the tracks or create a new world... Do they have 10 people working on these games each year or something..?
@@Iceman-hb3uk Asking channels like these to not clickbait is like goi g to an Italian restaurant and asking them not to make pasta. Have you seen the title of this video lol
modelling wind onto rain drops realistically running over a surface would be... something. Noone has a CPU for all that. Do you know how much stuff is being modelled in modern car sims? They already have the field running on simplified physics engines to take the load off the cpu. They doing wheel well flex and dirty air nowadays, I can forgive these companies for not modelling individual raindrop physics. Jesus. Noone even plays in the rain anyways, unless you're a newbie running TC and ABS aids, it's very unfun.
@@astra6485 The game looks this good but he focuses on the one thing that's missing and compliments nothing else. He's a snob and he a got deserved response for it.
Wow, that's impressive. I didn't realize mods were supported with F1 23. How do you use them? Do you know how much additional GPU load it adds? Like 20% hit to FPS or something?
These raindrops at camera screen are done Łazy and stupid. Except gravity there is no any other Force included. On every onbaord camera we can se that drops are moving horizontaly due to the speed, and change direction depending on turning right or left.
Bloom and Motion blur is far to much and cant be turned of. The graphics style of this game is the reason I will stay with F1 22 for another year. I want sharp picture so I can read the signs propperly.
You do realise it’s a mod and that’s not how it looks like in F1 23 and plus the footage isn’t even f1 23, can clearly see that with the steering wheel because that’s not how it is in f1 23
So true...this is in nowadays games..even the 90s had a clear image dammit..nowadays games are blurry shiet with no aa only dlss and dlaa which are crap anyway..i miss the 2010s and prertx era it was so much better😢
nah this is far from real. I saw once an Asseto Corsa mod, that they downgraded resolution like 480p, I don't now what thing they did, but the bad quality was on spot, matched perfect with TV transmission.
The fact that you want people to sign up to be a patron for a reshade and not like any other modder ask for a contribution if people can afford it , is piss poor , keep your reshade mate .
graphic were good in f1 22 the thing they are missing are the physics and damage model like their damage model is way to basic and that rain physic meh
The rain droplets on the halo shouldn't be sitting, so still. The speeds these cars go at they should be streaming off it. It looks good but those small details should be addressed.
We are clear that not everything is about graphics and driving on pillows, so why is still so easy to avertake a car ? ... That why I prefer AC all the way babe
Check out the brand new F1 23 graphics mod here! ua-cam.com/video/3hir_mPKT78/v-deo.html
My favorite part is the raindrops on the halo that don't move at 200+kph
yep that bothers me too
Daddy Stroll paid the rain not to move
Not only on the halo but all over the car .
Feel free to program a better mod lol

in this case not, rainy looks least realistic, and dry bahrain is photorealistic IMO
One last thing to add realism as f*ck to it, is to add random smokes coming out some cars.. and fogness..

Very impressive, if you remove some gloss and lower the contrast it is perfect!
The way the rain moves (or doesnt when looking at the car body) ruins this so bad
I was instantly 'bothered' by the same thing

It's F1 22, you can see the logo in Miami and Spain's last sector of the track doesn't have 2023's change.
Yes, bloom everywhere = realism
It's raining cats and dogs, but Fernando jumps on those kerbs though. Great
Put it in 240p, even more realistic
That's actually true

and about Aston Martin camera settings?
The rain drops on the camera lens should wipe out faster on the higher speed.
That redhade is the chef's kiss! Surprised by the sounds as well.
WOW! A graphics oriented gameplay video from someone who actually can drive. Weird.
Normally some mods ruin a game but this drastically improves just about everything.
It looks so realistic that there's almost no spray coming off the cars LOLOL wow, soooo realistic, lol!

When they will change the graphic engine with a decent one, let's hope everyone's graphics will look like this.
I think someone said next year when they ditch old gen consoles which was holding it back.
@@BillC-64 Yes i think so
@@BillC-64no it's codemasters holding it back. They are very lazy and each year it shows.

Those rain drops are paid actors.
Tik tok is sponsoring that car
