RAW on Netflix Was Made For You This Week

- Last week was a very polarizing week to be a fan of WWE Monday Night Raw. Whether you were a hardcore, a casual, or a new viewer as a whole, everyone had something to say about it. It’s easy to have a great episode 1, but how about episode 2? Where did it land? Sooplex goes over the good, the bad, and all the indifferent on this January 13th 2025 Edition of Monday Night Raw on Netflix!
Yeah last weeks was for the casual fans, the investors and they put on the spectacle. Last nights raw was exceptionally better
Today's PG Disney channel Uncle Howdy WWE is for casuals lol
I smell a sicko
Guys we have a sicko here. Say hello 👋
Yes put on a bland show that would really won't get a investor excited they would be bored
This week wasn't that amazing either, it's just kinda decent
Nonono Sooplex. The biggest thing to come out of the Sami and Miz match is Sami winning with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Shoulda been his finisher all along.
lol was literally gonna comment this, friends and I were laughing about it in the group chat lol
I don't care how long the show is. I want to feel like I wanted more at the end. I have lately felt that way about both 2 and 3 hour WWE shows lately. Absolutely got that this week.
I think 5 matches is a good number for a weekly show, if the segments and matches are good then people won’t complain. But ppvs needs at least 7 matches
If you do 7 matches on every B show, then you'll be having a TON of filler that no one cares about.
For a cool minute it looked like the drone was gonna hit Jey when he did his entrance 😂
In a way:
January 6th was Episode 0…or the Pitch Video…the Pilot.
January 13th was the true First Episode.
It had its moments, but I thought this was good!
By 3 hours of wrestling before Netflix is basically 2 hours of wrestlings elongated to 3 hours with ads in between... that's the one that maybe you will never like....this 2 and a half hours feels longer than 3 hours of raw before...and I like it
Because it feels like it's truly 2 and a half hours of wrestling story (outside ring segments)
PG Disney channel Uncle Howdy cartoons is NOT wrestling lol
Last week it felt like a mini pay per view
My only issue with the show is that I feel like the 4-5 minutes that Sami and Miz had would have been much better utilized by Lyra and Dakota but that match was still fantastic at only 8 minutes.
i was rooting for dakota but it was a cool match regardless
just hope lyra does some cool things and doesn’t just disappear after becoming champ
I can’t imagine what they would have done with the extra time. I thought it was a good, tight match. The suplex from the apron to the floor was insane.
I was there last night and the crowd fucking loved this show. It may slowed down a bit after Penta’s match but still. Out of the four shows that I been to live, This was the best one
2.5 hours is the sweet spot in my opinion. WWE gets 30 min for ads and we get 2 hours for wrestling.
The rosters for both shows are too big for the 4 match format. But, HHH doesn't know how to do short term booking or tell stories IN the ring well enough to have more matches on the card. But more matches featuring more people on the roster would be great.
Tbh it feels much longer because it feels like a truly 2 hours of wrestling and other 30 minutes is advertisement of the show
@@tuanmohdarfantuankhusairry2977 PG Disney channel Uncle Howdy WWE is NOT wrestling lol
i thought three hours was the ideal length for mondays until last night, 2 and a half left me wanting more while not rushing things like how it felt at the latter end of last year with the two hour shows.
It depends on how big of a roster and how people you want to appear on the show
Last night’s episode was AMAZING. 9 out of 10
I like the setup they have with time right now on Netflix. I think the reason a lot of people hate on the three hours is because it forces them to fill a certain amount of time. With Netflix, they can be more flexible, which should, in theory, allow for things to be more organic. They don't have to stall for time or cut down a segment as much, though I'm sure that'll always be a consideration.
it was a really good show. A nice step up from last week.
I would prefer 8 4 minute matches with a 12 minute main event. So 9 matches each week.

As for Matches. I think the format is good, but I do think 2 or 3 More can work…4 or maybe 5 More can work for a Special Episode Ala NXT’s Specials (New Year’s Evil, Spring Breakin’, Etc.)
For Specials Events for Raw can work are:
- New Years Revolution
- No Way Out
- Spring Stampede
- Capital Carnage or Punishment (God Forbid for the Latter)
- Unforgiven
- Traditional Survivor Series (Night (Take a Guess why)
- Armageddon
So what do you think? But all and all…this was good.

2:40 yes, shorter shows, less matches, more condense stories
Now that you put it out a Logan Paul jey uso mania story could be cinema
Travis Scott still has the strep throat. He said it on IG that last week he wasn't feeling well, and it wasn't completely better this week.
Doesn’t affect the song which is recorded already being played. He isn’t performing it live
I like weekly shows to be under 3 hours. I don't mind 3-4 hour PPVs.
EDIT: I love having segments on weekly. So having 4-5 matches and more PPV build-up works for me.
Last week's show was a pilot if you know how tv works you would actually get it
How is it for the casuals when rhe casuals left years ago lol. 4 long matches in 3 hours is not for casual fans lol
my thing is why cut the ic title match because of penta when you still had an extra 30 min to spare 🤦🏽♂️
Good short video sooplex👏👍
5 matches is solid. But 3-4 unless we getting a 30 min banger each show it’s not really worth it
I wanna see gunther vs cm punk at mania, but I wouldn't mind jey uso winning the world title, I wouldn't mind him having a short run and gunther winning it back before mania
The fact the song hasn’t been heard I’m telling you has to be on Travis Scott not wwe 💀🤣😭
I feel he down played the Lyra vs Dakota match.
Naa, I liked the premier episode better so definitely I'm a casual viewer. We need more spectacles. I think Jan 27 episode of RAW will be a big one(Roman and Goldberg are gonna be there)
I think they moved the Wyatt’s over because they need more stars. As Smackdown needs them more.
With the Wyatt’s this might be far fetched but why not solos bloodline since the Wyatt’s all all about people leaving their families
Judgment day gonna split into 2 groups of 2 (maybe not factions but friendships) JD will pick Finn over Don after a few weeks of confliction. Leading into their singles feud. Carlito gonna stay tight with Dom, he is the guy who brought him into the team and fought for him, don’t see them tagging together or being involved in each others story lines like I do with Finn and JD, but it don ever needs some one for a tag match in a singles or vice versa they wound prob team with each other. Like Seth and Sami type of friendship. Obviously liv and Rodriguez will continue what they doing
Jey Uso as champ would definitely down grade the title. Would give of secondary title vibes (Jack Swagger WHC era)
This raw was much better
I think the plans is Gunther going to wrestle mania having a match with John Cena given how John Cena is in his retirement year era.. Punks words did mentioned about challenging Cody/Kevin for the belt if this is leading him using that favor from Heyman in the case of Gunther v. Cena is on the Wrestle Mania card or not/does win Elimination chamber to have a spot on WM cards
If Charlotte returns and wins the royal rumble, ideally it would be Tiffy v. Charlotte for the belt as a dream match creative wise for Tiffy's line of opponents while booking could be Nia v. Rhea or Rhea v. Nia v. Bayley then leaving Lyra v. Becky somewhere down the line for WM matches card.
Another thing to point out is that Wyatt Sicks could go for the tag belts given Lumis's past history with DIY mainly Johnny Garganno who at one point is the storyline father-in-law as Indy's WWE storyline dad which could be a reason why the group could be going to Smackdown if DIY is in need of fresh tag title opponents.
"they nailed it" when the last time that could be said of aew its been awhile now a bit to long now
Shit didn't know you had another job. I thought this was your job. What do you do for work?
Yeet. This show was good
I could easily be a hardcore but Being a Casual fan is so much better, Last Raw was Soooooo much better 😭😭😭😭😭
cagematch 😂
Talent not happy about penta going longer is not his fault they ended half hour early would it make a difference if they ended at 2:40
He didn’t go overtime. It’s live on Netflix. There is no time limit.
@@Yessica.haircut Wresters always have a time limit. The booker tells you how much time you got.
Im just suprised things got trimmed because didn't hunter say that they have more flexibility to do what they need to do?
@@Yessica.haircut Netflix is WOKE garbage full of unfunny comedy specials.

How much are they paying you to lie like this and promote mediocrity 😂
I get you guys like the matches, but there were no stories on RAW. No angle. No story. No cliffhanger. What is there to look forward to?
I mean December to January is always the coldest part of wwe, so it's okay if they don't start stories because the rumble is about to come.
@PowerpuffBlito
I’ve been watching since late 2003 and pretty much every episode of RAW or SmackDown would end in an angle or cliffhanger.
Now that they’re on Netflix, this is their chance to show the fans, especially the casual fans, that RAW is a show you can’t miss. Even around the holidays and new year.
I think Smackdown needs to be 2 and a half hours tbh
Watch when Pllana uploads later today glazing over last night episode
