I have the Fed Arms FRX model which is the same as the FRN model just that it comes with a different tactical pistol grip stock.
I got mine when Canada Ammo got the very first shipment of these shotguns into Canada years ago.. and since then I have never seen them for sale anywhere again.. so they are actually hard to find now and if you want one.. chances are you will have to settle for a used one.. as I dont think any retailers in Canada are carrying this shotgun anymore.
This shotgun is so awesome that I will NEVER sell mine.. and it has performed most EXCELLENT without a single failure or malfunction.
I also modified mine by changing out the fore end grip for a smaller Magpul style fore end and I changed out the rear butt stock for one with a cheek riser as using red dot optics will sit kind of high when using the original stock.. so a stock with a cheek riser makes a big difference.
The Fed Arms FRN/FRX is an EXCELLENT pump action shotgun and I would take this shotgun over a Maverick 88 or a Mossberg 500 and I easily rate it up there with the Remington 870 and Mossberg 590 - there are a few videos here on UA-cam on the Fed Arms FRN/FRX and some UA-camrs have even listed this shotgun as the best budget pump action 12ga shotgun for the money! - if you check out other UA-cam videos on this shotgun you will not find a single bad review on it.
There is one channel where guys run torture test on these Fed Arms shotguns and put many heavy rounds through them.. and they run FLAWLESS without a single malfunction!
This is a most excellent shotgun brother.. trust me.. and let me tell you a little secret.. if you are looking for spare parts to change out the furniture on this shotgun.. any Canuck made parts will fit on this shotgun - RDSC (Red Deer Shooting Center) is just one retailer in Canada that carry a lot of Canuck parts like stocks and fore end grips and being they are all Turkish made.. it will all fit this shotgun.. so you can change out the buttstock to a Magpul or Monte Carlo style with a riser.. or a tactical side folder.. or even a top folder. Many people do not know this.. but I own several Turkish made shotguns.. and I change out the parts and furniture on them regularly to keep things exciting - a lot of the parts on Turkish made shotguns are all inter-changeable with each other.. even the bolts/bolt carrier groups, action bars, and trigger groups are all the same in many of the Turkish made shotguns that come over here to Canada.
If there is ONE bad thing about the Fed Arms FRN/FRX 12ga shotgun.. is that it is a smooth bore barrel and it comes with no chokes - if this shotgun came with a rifled barrel option and a set of chokes it would be a 10/10 hands down! - that is the only negative about this most excellent shotgun!
Respect my bredren.. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORKS.. and Big Up to all of my fellow Jamaican family here in Canada!
I am a Jamaican (Clarendon) located in Toronto and my family came to Canada from way of England in 1966 and I have been a firearms owner and collector here in Canada since the 1980's -
