I love how all “barriers” in this game are purely knowledge based, you could, from the very start of the game, do in a couple minutes what the nomai couldn’t do in thousands of years in reaching the eye of the universe if you just simply know enough, all of these things are just there waiting on you to piece the pieces of the puzzle together

I could say that Hollow Knight is my favorite game ever made, since I've played and enjoyed it SO much (about 300h), but this game definitely takes that title for me.
The space nerd in me loved every single part of this, every concept, puzzle, dialogue, planet, death, lore piece.
It really is a shame I never get to experience a first playthrough again, because the progression in this game is your own knowledge of the game.
But that progression system is also my favorite part.

Outer Wilds was one of the greatest games I have ever played in my entire life and even that is an understatement. The soundtrack is incredible to a point where I get chills every time I listen to it. The way it covers existentiality genuinely change my outlook on death. Plus the style and world itself is incredibly beautiful and left me in awe everywhere I went. Finally the ending was perfect and truly is something I will never forget. And on the off chance that you are reading this comment while you watch this video PLEASE go play the game for yourself. I know its not for everyone but the story aspect of it just incredible. Simping for this game is literally a hobby of mine at this point I love it soooooo much.

I put off watching this until i played it myself. Just finished it yesterday and its a hecking experience. Its the first game thats managed to get me to cry. There’s something so depressing about walking around the remains of a dead civilization. Standing in the abandoned vessel reading undated transcriptions from nomai preparing for the end of the universe. All while waiting for your own star to die. The ending was what really got me. That point where you had to watch the stars wink out one by one was just so overwhelmingly sad. This is definitely one of my favourite games and it was fun watching you play through it

Yknow what the funniest part is, in all of it? It's that Kelsey, the writer for Outer Wilds (And the creative director's sister) got hired by Obsidian shortly after, and worked on the narrative design for Outer World's DLC. This name tangle is further tangled still!
I have no heart to shit on Obsidian's work, they're great, but _man,_ do I know without a shadow of a doubt which of the "Outers" is my favorite, and is going to stay in my heart till the day I die. This game was GOTY for a lot of people for a reason, and even with all the critical acclaim it is still _criminally_ underplayed, imo :C

43:50 This is kinda funny... you *should* have been destroyed by the supernova like normal instead of getting the "memory cutoff" effect (indicating the end of the memories sent back in time) as if you were inside the ATP. I wonder if the game implements the projection pools by actually transporting you to the location being viewed, that's the only explanation I can come up with that would explain this glitch.

Hah, I just finished watching this on your vod channel just a few days ago. I was wondering if you had given up on editing a compilation for this channel.
I had a blast watching your journey through this, it's one of my favorite games. Thanks for the hours of entertainment.

Literally my favorite game I’ve ever played, and I totally regret watching streamers play it. I would totally wipe my memory and play it again if I could. If you want to play a touching, well written, and absolutely breathtaking game, listen to the warning at the beginning and stop watching and just play the game. You won’t lose anything by waiting to watch the stream.(also don’t look up walkthroughs)

This is the first time I've seen mods backseat the streamer.

I may or may not have bought, played, and beat this game just so I could watch this video without having the game spoiled.
