6:49 in the watch along i remember the actress who plays sandra (can’t remember her real name) described that as him “doing a sort of meerkat move” and i can’t unsee that now
I think my favourite out of all of these has to go to 8:23, when he was looking down at where there was no staircase remaining the whole time, yet still fell. Take what insight you will from that.
Probably my favorite character in the show. I particularly didn't like his after death scenes in The Lodge but everywhere else he was pretty good. Especially before his "death" in The Lodge with how he slayed the accent and adjectives. I wished he could just continue to talk about adjectives for that entire episode.
max is genuinely someone I'd want to be friends with, his silly actions and funny persona would make him a good friend to me, plus he is serious when he wants to be which is also important
As a fellow neurodivergent fuck about, I declare that there is no neurotypical explanation for this character *it’s the adhd isn’t it mate* (not Dave Hearn I would never randomly diagnose an actor that’s weird I specifically mean the character Max Bennet)
Iunno what this is but I'm in love with whatever ur doing here and I'ma look around and if there is even a single other video of it's ilk I'ma sub so I don't miss such things.

That’s called absurdist humor. In that kind of humor the lack of context is precisely whats funny. It’s more popular with gen Z, but older media like the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy have that humor as well. And like the person said, it’s for people who have watched the show and know the context. It’s just quoting the funny lines of a character. If someone wanted to see the context they would just watch the show.
I love how Dennis' play is the only play where nothing goes wrong.
When you take a concept that just works, it just works.
And in Max's Kitchen Sink Drama, besides saying bowel rather than bowl, Dennis remembered all his lines.
@@gamerman782But then Jonathan got stuck in the tap.
As is traditon
I love how Max is able to make the best out of all the mishaps in the plays. He’s just here to have a good time
max is just along for the shits and giggles and I love him lmao
If Robert can be dubbed “The Voice of TGWS” then Max is 100% “The ADHD of TGWS.”
I have ADHD and that sounds reasonable
i would like your comment but its at 69 and i dont want to ruin it
As an autistic, Dennis is The Autism of TGWS. No I wont explain.
Vanessa would be perfectionist because you know she can't teally go on well when something goes wrong
@@jamj4ras another autistic, you don’t have to. you’re right.
as someone who has introduced this to my dad everytime Max smiles at the camera he says 'he has the greatest smile ever' and i have to agree
Fr it's like he was built to smile. I've watched this series and specials like 30 times and I still go "awwww nooo not the boy" when Max gets sad.
It's so in-character for Max that he definitely dragged Dennis on so he could have the curtain call. He's so proud of his mate.
Arguably the best character
"to be clean, is my goal, I'm a dirty, little bowel"
8:55 one of the best jokes ever no slapstick,no goodniess just a very upset guy trying to play a jolly ghost and fsiling miserably 😂
Max is such a nice man. He treats Sandra and Dennis well and he loves to have a laugh. He’s soooo emotional though. :(
The golden retriever boyfriend we all needed
10:43 I never caught the stage crew cuddling in the background! lol I love this group! Precious!
Trevor pulls away when he notices the camera lol
It doesn't matter how many times I see it, the kitchen sink drama will always make me laugh like an idiot.
he split the log WITH MIND BULLETS, that's telekinesis kyle
6:49 in the watch along i remember the actress who plays sandra (can’t remember her real name) described that as him “doing a sort of meerkat move” and i can’t unsee that now
Chasrie Russell is the actress
Love charlie for that
The kitchen sink drama immediately makes me think if Mr Maker
Okay but hear me out,,, Max as Mr Maker

Yeah it was the shapes dance

Your honor, I'm in love with him

Absolute commitment to the craft.
I get the feeling Max is actually very good in rehearsal, but gets excited when he sees the audience

I constantly say “snap snap” because of the crocodile in ppgw 😂 max is just so precious

Max is like a golden retriever.
I love him sm!
Max is just me.
I get to play this character in a production of Play That Goes Wrong at my community theater, I’m so damn excited!
I just saw this but I hope you have fun and good luck on your performance!!
I love max so much, he’s so innocent and sweet 🥺
I wish I could be as positive as Max.
Max is the best character
Max is my favorite human!

Fairly sure that most of it is on bbc iPlayer too
It’s where I watched it :D
