Visited Crete last June and stayed near Moutri, Georgioupoli and Rethymno area. We travelled around the island to many of it's popular destinations. The island of Crete, the Greek hospitality and cuisine are AMAZING!

We have been to Sto Skolio thanks to your recommendation (Tarka w drodze) and it was a yummy experience, especially after climbing the gorge ;-)

We were in Crete last week, managed to visit Tamam and Monica's Kafenes - both excellent! We will have to return to Chania, because Oasis was closed and so were the bougatsa places .... (And if we return, we can also do the Imbros gorge then ... :)) Thank you for your videos, they are really inspiring!

It was! Management changed a couple of months ago but hopefully they keep the quality in high standards.
Crete has wonderful local foods and the best olive oil and pickled olives I think in the whole Greece
Many would agree. Others wouldn't. :)

Thank you! It is "skolio" (school). Not a big fan of seafood but there are some good restaurants in the old port of Chania.

Went to Tamam in Chania. It was TERRIBLE!!!! Food was cold and slow. Had to wait 15-20 minutes in between each of the 3 dishes we ordered. And there are literally 3 dinners with 3 servers so not busy at all. DONT DONT come here.
I guess we'll have to come back to Crete to try all these fantastic places! 😉😄
