Why would a rabbit rescue recommend a festival for which owners bring their rabbits to completely unfamiliar surroundings without any real need? Except for the owner's personal fun without regard for the rabbits' wellbeing?

Thanks for being so understanding about Fluffy and what happened last year! Sorry I was so awkward and giggly when we met, but it was great to be able to apologize in person and I'm so glad Lennon healed so well afterwards. Fluffy might not be allowed to join any more hoppy hours, but she gets plenty of love and play with Bun and Ozzy at home.
You were GREAT! It's hard when any kids squabble and yes it's traumatic experience and stressful for both parties. I'm glad you got to meet up with Lennon and let her know how sorry you were that Fluffy attacked her. Glad your bunny is doing well and sorry they can't enjoy the fun because of their actions. Any animal can act in an unpredictable way, Its just in their nature, its their only way of showing you and the other animal how they're feeling, And fluffy just showed you she wasn't comfortable and accidents do happen, I'm glad Fluffy is happy now with Bun and Ozzy :)
It's better for Fluffy (as it is for any rabbit) to stay at home with familiar rabbit room mates. In nature they only live and interact 24/7 with the rabbit group they were born into. They only fight unfamiliar rabbits.
I've owened bunnys for more than 16 years... you can never know if they like each other or not. Bunny fights are so brutal. But it's not your fault.

Once my living situation changed in highschool, I had to rethink my life with rabbits because they were severely affected. I didn't have the room space. I had to re-home them to family members who could at least make them comfortable. I regret getting my loves, but at least I know I didn't suck at bunny keeping thanks to research. I was just too young and my situation was and still is too unpredictable to have bunnies in my life. I'm glad at least I knew better than to stuff them in their crates full time.
The crates were really just bunny potties, they were always open in my room and them slept in blankets in my room. I miss it, but I'm in no rush to include critters in my life I can't house comfortably and properly.
People like you help my bunny loving heart look forward to the future.
Right now I'll focus on my fishtank.💙 I love your videos!
Edit: Most liked comment I've had!!!!!!! Thank you, for it was a personal comment. Life doesn't always go as planned, it was very hard to let them go. But I needed to do what's best for them. This really helps deal with it. 💙

Just so you know. My daughter got a bunny in college as a companion. She had that Bunny up until she died. She had moved back home after graduation and we told her she needed another bunny in her life. By then we Parents got one of our own. It takes a commitment to own any pet, even a gold fish. I would not ever consider you having another pet if its that easy for you to just give it away. Pets are 100 commitment.

My mother being biolar never offered any support. Me being bipolar, I figured it would be best to rehome them once I became homeless myself. My mother threw me out. Of my home. She wouldnt even let me go to college. She thought FAFSA didn't need her social security number.
But it did, and I didn't get to go to community college for free like I had earned. I'd rather see my bunnies lives in health. Than to suffer at inadequate rabbit care on my part. I couldnt even afford myself.
Its wonderful to see a family be United like yours seems to be. Mine never had a chance. 💙

One of my girls Flick, Can be quite aggressive towards other humans and rabbits at times, she needs her own space where she feels comfortable,and although i love her and she (I think) loves me, she will nip my ankles if i stand in *Her* area too long, which is unfortunate as she lives in the bedroom! aha :D
But she would not be happy and I don't think my other two girls would be either :(
I’ve got two rabbits. One of them is an introvert so he would avoid this place but allows my sis and me to hold him but the other one is type of fearless and hence he would just hop into the centre of the place XD
YES thank you! My bunny would be sooooo scared and I think most of them enjoy it much less than the owners. They are not like dogs that they like being taken on trips.

It's not her fault, it's not like she trained her bunny to attack others. You put a bunch of rabbits that don't know each other together, things happen.
I mean, it’s not like it’s her fault. She obviously knows now to not let her bunny near others, but she didn’t then.
The thing about pet owners and pets....you can see when a huge effort is made to control a wild animal. We can't control every single aspect of very personality trait and very mood every day. As long as effort is there and proper technique, the rest is circumstance

What a wonderful event!!! And, obviously you and Lennon are very well known in the bunny world!!! We have smaller events put on by the local bunny rescue, but nothing like that. I am so happy the lady from last year's mishap got to express her apology. Amazing how so many bunnies can get along so well, as we struggle bonding our two. I run the Deputy Bunny posse in my cowboy shooting sport, which is fun, and some members truly get into the spirit of it too! Love you guys and always look forward to the next one!!!

Glad you made it back to Bunnyfest, and hopefully with a better outcome. Looks like a lot of fun. More people need to realize the magic and intelligence of Rabbits. Sadly they are still so misunderstood. In conjunction with my local rabbit rescue in Northern California, I do my best to try and educate the masses as to what rabbit are and aren't. Hopefully event and trends like this will catch on in time. Nothing happens overnight.

I saw your rescuing vids and started to cry. My bunny died a couple weeks ago and I wasn’t there for her (with my class 200 miles away) I loved her and I’m still sad but that’s live going. Now I gonna buy another on Saturday. I wanted to adopt one, but there aren’t any shelters here. BUT we know a pet shop who doesn’t keep the bunnies very well and it’s a thing in our family to buy (it doesn’t matter how old he/she is) some bunny there to give them a better live. I‘m very happy that I found your channel, to see you and your bunny as a very good team 💕 (My english isn’t very well, I‘m from germany... so... sorry for that)

Midwest Bunfest is in 2 weeks! There's a few different ones all over the country so just look around and like the other commenter said check with shelters and rescues to see if there is one near you. They're so much fun - I look forward to MWBF every year!!!

Actually it's rather easy. Have the bottle in as well as a bowl. Eventually (probably rather quickly tbh) she will start drinking from the bowl and you can remove the water bottle.
ours took to a bowl no problem, but there was no where to hang a bottle
