Solid content. Except I was eating my trusty tuna sandwich for lunch when you got to the “when in doubt throw it out” slide. … I didn’t finish my lunch. 😬 But I did finish the video! 👏🏼
Excellent video, Nathan. I’m learning a lot from you. Intuitively I know a lot but you articulate points very well, remaining doubts disappear Thank you
Thanks, Gotch. This is a very in detail on to point video on Backlinks. Definitely, If we follow these guidelines, we will be getting high-quality backlinks. I will try to implement this for my client website.
As usual, fully packed with great tips and knowledge. Question: What are your thoughts on getting mentioned/linked from news sites such as msn, techbullion, etc?
Love the amount and range of advice you're posting on your channel, and trying to work my way through it... solopreneur though. I am working on a Security Company website here n Scotland. They have clients in different industries, some large and some small companies, some local others further afield but still in Scotland. Would you have any suggestions on strategies to follow for such a business? They do have a couple of other small offices in other parts of Scotland so not all the business is local... Thanks.
Hey Nathan thank you for taking the time to put together this super helpful information! Around the 10 min mark, you pointed out a website that links to your website and isn't the best quality and wasn't very relevant either. Now in your opinion (or anyone who has some experience here) should it be an ongoing priority for website owners to try and remove backlinks from irrelevant and poor-quality websites or don't worry too much about those barnacles? Haha
Thank you! We have in our process to "Tag" what we would deem "toxic" backlinks. This doesn't mean we'll work to remove or disavow them. It's just to create awareness. In general, link loss should be avoided (even with lower quality links)
In this video, Nathan Gotch shares the anatomy of the perfect backlink for SEO, emphasizing the importance of relevance, location relevance, and keywords. He also discusses the quality of backlinks, including the backlink profile, outbound link quality, and overall website quality. Finally, he mentions the importance of considering metrics like authority score, referring domains, and organic traffic when filtering through high-quality opportunities.
Is it good to get a backlink from a blog post on the exactly same keyword that my blog post is targeting. Can it panalize my site, as Google doesn't want us to make backlinks manually.
hello Nathan, just wondering how much would this relevant backlinks cost compare to those offered by backlink agencies like pbns and stuffs like guest post that could cost around 30usd to 50usd. Any tips how to get these relevant backlinks without paying much?

Would be great if you would do a video on how to find out what low quality websites link to you and how to disavow them :)
Totally agree It be good to understand why, when and how to disavow 👀

So I do have a question I have a niche Rank and rent website, would a chamber of commerce link be a powerful relevant link for a website like that?
It won't massively move the needle, but it's a link from a trusted entity and you should get it
Wonderful ❤
I hold a high ranking with just two backlinks, leading me to believe that backlinks may no longer hold the same significance they once did.

And what about e-commerce websites. How do they get relevant backlinks from their competitors. Why would our competitors give backlinks.
It pays to be very selective when building backlinks
Hey bro,
Do you want a professional UA-cam thumbnail designer?
1st comment.😌
I think you will be good with 1. Relevance. That is all you need.
Nathan I would like to ask about serpzilla use do you recommend it for guest blogging and link insertion or other backlink building with that tool.
