    I've made this before and added caramel sauce to the apples so it was a caramel apple crumble, was yum!

      I use Salted butter in Apple crumble.

      I use caster sugar and I don't use oats.

      @Edward Cullen Oats adds a bit of texture and crunch, you can omit them if you want to.

    I really miss school dinners! I use to love school dinners. I grew up in the late 80s/90s and in those days Asian parents always cooked curry at home loll with the exception of fish fingers and chips!! Loll

    Can i use red apples instead of green apples cause they are very sour?

      You can if you wish, but as far as i know apple crumble is normally made with green apples which are cooking apples because of the flavour it gives.

      you can use any type of apples really. I use cooking apples because I loke my crumble tart but my sister uses fuji/Braeburn/gala apples coz she likes it sweet. just adjust amount of sugar according to your taste. play around with the ingredients as well until you find something you like. I sometimes add other fruits wih the apples

    Ooh My favourite bit of apple crumble is the crumble topping and urz looked 😋😋😋
    My favourite school dessert was chocolate sponge with green coloured peppermint custard! Pure stodge and I loved it😋😋😋

    Hi anisa There's this one school pudding that i don't know the name of I've been searching and searching for it can't find it maybe you know what it's called? It looks like spotted dick but that's a sponge i heard this tasted like shortbread it was hard biscuit with dark raisins was deliciousss with hot custard🙈
