What they didn't tell you is that the water on the south side of Montrose harbor is calm because the waves get broken up along the northern lake wall... Plus there's thousands of people in the water or watching it, so no chance you'll just sink without people noticing right next to you
@@phoenixomega806 I swam in there, it's fine. They said it is a swim at your own risk, if you can't swim then don't. Or maybe the city can pay some lifeguards $100 each Friday for two hours to look at everybody in the water. But they wont. Not our problem, we will just go somewhere else and do the same thing.
@@phoenixomega806 unless you swam in the water with us, it doesn't make sense for you to say anything. You don't know the layout of the harbor, and you don't know about the nurses, doctors, and firefighters who all know CPR that swam in the same part of the lake with us, you also don't know about all the boats parked there that enjoy the same calm waters, otherwise they wouldn't be parked there. And that's fine, just don't make it sound bad if you've never been there and never saw anything bad.

And if you drown, then your loved ones can sue the city.

If someone can just lure Sleestak Johnson near the rip current, law abiding citizens would be thankful.
