- We finally got to tick another epic activity off our bucket list thanks to Above Laos Ballooning Adventures for taking us on the cheapest hot air balloon ride in the world here in the beautiful landscape of Vang Vieng, Laos!
Above Laos Ballooning Adventures are a Lao/French Company recognised by the Civil Aviation Authority as the Cheapest Hot Air Balloon ride in the world! They are now OPEN again for tourism from NOVEMBER 2021.

Wow! I definitely did not get that view when I went to beautiful Vang Vieng. Such an amazing place. I avoided the tubing and just focused on the amazing nature there. Thanks and Happy Travels

Yeah, I have gone on a hot air balloon ride in the USA. It was very fun. I would love to do this in Vangvieng. There are some gorgeous mountains there.

WOW! Pleasantly surprised! Didn’t expect to see Hot Air Balloon now in Laos! And the view is just SPECTACULAR!!! Takes the breath away! From your description, that is a very cheap price. Knew some friends who went on Hot Air Balloons in Napa Valley wine country (California), and the price then (year 2018) was already $399 per person for basic package deal. Never been on a hot air balloon myself, afraid of heights. Hope one day will be brave enough to try. Great inspiring video!
Laos has changed a lot since I've vacation there in 2018. I would love to do this activity in Laos. The mountains are gorgeous.

Might be the cheapest ride, but a million dollar view! Probably one the best place to do this. The scenery is breathtaking, especially early morning sun and mist! Love it.

i hate height; i dont mind flying but height @ 1:35! where are your super cool sunglasses... yes, those misty morning is nothing less than amazing to witness of those casting shadows are just breathtaking. i love anthony's jacket and hat that said above laos. how long was your flight? 100 that is really good price! @ 6:51 you are still on cloud #9!

The height isn't so bad because you feel really safe in the basket! The ride was around 45 minutes 🙂
