The best part about the SNES family fued is that as long as the answer has the letters in the right order, you get the answer. IE "name something a dog would like" and you answer " Bags Of Newts" you'll get the score for " Bones"
There's a similar thing in the NES version of Jeopardy! You could put a bunch of random-ass letters, but as long as you had the right answer (Spelled right I might add) bam-the answer was correct!
Sean Fraser I believe it is kinda like an accountant, though not quite the same. I don't think a bookkeeper actually calculates the budgets and such just keeps track of the money and where it is going.
Poor Todd really wanted to participate but could only communicate with text... You should invite him to play sometimes!! Watching you play will turn him crazy!
My family has an ice cream maker. It's basically just a bucket that you put salted ice in and then a pot thing inside it with the ingredients. You crank the side until it gets super hard to do, adding ice when you need to, and then it's ready
I never had one but if you go to garage sales and yard sales chances are you'll run into them I have seen many heck one yard sale had 3 ice cream makers i have no idea why anyone would need so many
Use the Todd chibi... *Use the Todd chibi...* *USE IT!!!* *USE THE DAMN TODD CHIBI!!!!* *I SAW IT I KNOW IT EXISTS, USE THE THING MORE!* *MOOOOAAAAARRRR!*
First of all the crank question asks for things that had cranks in the old days, and the game is from the 90’s. So the game referencing people having hand crank ice cream makers refers to waaay before the 90’s. Second I think you guys thought the “telephone crank” was referring to those old circular rotary dial phones, but it’s not. It’s referring to an even older type of phone, that you see in like old cartoons, powered by a crank.
Me and my siblings played this game all the time as kids, and one thing I'll never forget is when we got the question "What do The Beatles all have in common?" and after putting the obvious answers we couldn't think of anything, so my sister wrote "They all have wieners" and it came up as the #1 answer "Haircuts."
This is due to the way where the game checks answers; it just checks if you have the right letters in the right order somewhere in what you typed. In this case, it most likely used the 'h' and 'a' from hair and the 'i' and 'r' from wieners.
The little ceasers near where I live let's the employees eat pizza not picked up. They stopped because they would purposely make orders so they can eat it
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Killer Whales are not a type of whale, they're dolphins. I declare this round to have been invalid due to the Humble family obviously cheating.
so why arent they called Killer Dolphins then? From wiki " The killer whale or orca (Orcinus orca) is a toothed whale belonging to the oceanic dolphin family"
I am guessing you didn’t watch Family Fued in the early 90s. For whatever reason the added those bullseye rounds at the start of the game to determine how much each team would be playing for if/when they got to the bonus round. (As opposed to just a flat number as it was orignally and nowadays.) It was a really stupid mechanic that I am glad they got rid of.
And they thought that when they got car right it meant the window except that some of the first cars required cranking to start the engine and that's what it meant.
I remember seeing a manual ice cream maker at a family reunion. They put sugar, milk and ice cream into a sort of container and then it was cranked by hand from the stop. My father's family is fairly old fashioned.
Also, telephones used to (up until the 50’s, so like 40 years before this game came out, so olden days that a kid playing this game in the late 80’s/early 90’s would have grandparents who would talk about old stuff) have a hand crank that created an electrical current to start your call. You would be connected to a manual switchboard operator who would connect your call directly. (Thus the old “operator! Connect me to the shoe factory” type lines used in old movies)
"Something a mother says to her child over and over again:" "No." AHAHA I was seriously typing a comment about that being an option that should be on top AND THEN THEY GUESSED IT AND IT WAS ON TOP. Clearly I am an expert at Family Fued for the SNES. And then I sat here yelling "BUTTER CHURN" at the screen for a while. BTW my family had an electric ice cream maker for years. XD But def not one you have to churn yourself.
2:56 I've never heard of it at all. 3:32 *Sigh* 6:38 That was close. 10:40 They are still a thing today. Just not common. 11:17 Generally it's good to pass if you have a good grasp on the question. Because if the other family can't clear the board you can steal with only one right answer. 12:01 The old days Todd not the 90s.
*+Blue Battle Gaming* Pal, just tell me something: When they do shows like this one they tell the people they are interviewing about the possible answers, or am I wrong? Because if not then I can understand "Yes" *not* being on the table.
megagutsman Do you mean those who are surveyed? There are no answer lists or anything for those surveyed. They will group similar answers together, but the number of answers varies depending on the group surveyed.
*+Some Random Guy* "Surveyed", that was the word!. Sorry, am Latin American and, even though am pretty good at English, I always forget 1 or 2 words. Oh, and that explains everything, thanks!.
The bullseye round at the beginning is ONLY the number 1 answer. Your answers were probably right, just not the number 1 (or the "bullseye"), which is all the first round is.
I LOVE Family Feud. I'm pausing when the question goes up so I don't hear the Ujojo's answers just to see if we thought the same thing. 1. Boxer 2. Pizza 3. Financial Planner 4. Car 5. Blue I'll put three guesses for this part 6. Don't touch, clean your room, brush your teeth 7. (I have no idea with this one.) Generator, gramophone, clothes squeezer thing 8. Watch TV, play video games, sleep FAST MONEY 1. King 2. Cotton 3. Dolphin 4. Sugar 5. Rose I wouldn't have won either since a lot of the answers were the same thing. Nobody would've said, "Don't touch" and then "Don't". Play an updated version. I used to have a DVD game with Richard Karn way back in the day. I think I played it once.
Apparently the game checks answers by looking at the order of the letters, so in that case it would be like *C* d pl *A* ye *R* Or in other words, Car, which is close enough to the full answer "Model Car"
Judging just from the title, I foresee that Peebs' and Joof's moms will show up, reprimand them for playing too many video games, and will take over for the rest of the episode.
Yo, Todd, my family used to make ice cream all the time with a hand crank mixer. We still have one and have been talking about bringing it out this summer.
I love reading, especially when I'm sick and have nothing better to do. I know it's weird, but when I don't feel like video games, it's enjoyable and relaxing.
The crank one made me sad, boys. Old phones were cranked. Old cars needed cranked to run, gramophones used cranks as well. Even some more modern record players were crank operated.
My family had an ice cream maker... They're like $20 little things you put cream and sugar in, and put ice around the outside and crank it. I'd wager most Midwestern and southern families have at least heard of them.
The funny things is that you're wrong. Because the correct term is Odontoceti (or informally: toothed whale) for dolphin and Mysticeti (or informally: Baleen whale) for whales (and whales is a very incorrect word you should avoid using if you want to correct people on things like this) which are both belonging to the Cetacea infra-order. Using the *real* classifications, dolphins (Odontoceti) are a type of whale (Cretacea) but not specifically a whale (Mysticeti) while whales (Cretacea) and whales (Mysticeti) are entirely different things. No I did not make any of that up. Yes it is all true. And yes it is confusing in the most fascinating way possible.
my mom had a plastic ice cream makers that used a crank of sorts to stir all the ingredients together. But it must not have worked very well, because i only remember using it a few times.
Honestly, this game is always fun to see people play, because the recognition of answers is really weird and some of the antiquated answers also make it funny to see the contrast between modern players and the time when the game was made. In other words; I wouldn't mind another episode or two.
my Mom Always Knew When I Was Faking Sick to Get Out of Going to School,But She Was Also Super Sympathetic to The Fact That I Was Going Through Hell When I Was in School,so She Just Let me Stay Home Anyway
I’ve never yelled “Clean your room” so loud before, I feel like my parents.😂😂 “Old times” meaning 1911+ I believe because that’s the only time I can think of a car and telephone needing to be cranked, lol.
2:15 oh that round, you have to guess the top answer i think... my country used to have its own version of family feud with a different name and it used to have this round before the first round even started
This is how the Family Feud used to play :) It started off with quick, single-answer questions before deciding who started the board. They just cut that part out later on (I certainly don't know this from spending one summer in high school doing nothing but watching the Game Show channel >.>)
The best part about the SNES family fued is that as long as the answer has the letters in the right order, you get the answer.
IE "name something a dog would like" and you answer " Bags Of Newts" you'll get the score for " Bones"
That is amazing. How on Earth do you know this? :)
I watch someone on twitch who speedruns this :D
There's a similar thing in the NES version of Jeopardy! You could put a bunch of random-ass letters, but as long as you had the right answer (Spelled right I might add) bam-the answer was correct!
That's how Arin somehow got "Model Car" when he put in "CD Player" during Game Grumps playing the game a few years ago.
@@KawaiiKing64 Yes, 'cause the game just read C-A-R, 'cause 'car' is an acceptable answer. Blew my mind all those years ago.
"no" said mom
Yessssss it even spells it on the keyboard
“Bookkeeper” is a real profession, guys
Sean Fraser I believe it is kinda like an accountant, though not quite the same. I don't think a bookkeeper actually calculates the budgets and such just keeps track of the money and where it is going.
I love how Todd's casually playing along.
I wouldn't be surprised if he was cheating though. He was on point with some of his "guesses"
Gotta love Todd's bottom-text sass, though.
Especially since both times he was right. Either he cheated by looking ahead at the footage, or they needed him on their team.
I love how the editor played along. Makes this much more enjoyable.
Poor Todd really wanted to participate but could only communicate with text... You should invite him to play sometimes!! Watching you play will turn him crazy!
He should join them in person for this!
Jon Fro-Mez why
Todd is like James the Guitar Guy in AVGN... he just live behind their coach, and mostly observe them playing
Why?
I know it’s not fair
My family has an ice cream maker. It's basically just a bucket that you put salted ice in and then a pot thing inside it with the ingredients. You crank the side until it gets super hard to do, adding ice when you need to, and then it's ready
I never had one but if you go to garage sales and yard sales chances are you'll run into them I have seen many heck one yard sale had 3 ice cream makers i have no idea why anyone would need so many
I didn't have one but a friend did and I used it to make ice cream when I visited once.
I like how Peebs and Joof are so young they have no idea that phones *did* have cranks before rotaries.
Valentino I'm younger than them and I knew that so...
Same. They're pretty young. I thought of telephone almost right away.
Lynn Taylor They aren't that young. Maybe to young for phone cranks but old enough to know about them they're almost 30!
I was surprised radio and TV weren't up there...
I am not much older than them and I knew that. I watched a lot of old TV shows though.
Use the Todd chibi...
*Use the Todd chibi...*
*USE IT!!!*
*USE THE DAMN TODD CHIBI!!!!*
*I SAW IT I KNOW IT EXISTS, USE THE THING MORE!*
*MOOOOAAAAARRRR!*
Xk Entertainment timestamp please
I want less and only less of all the chibis. (Ideally none at all) They ruin so many jokes and distract from the gameplay on screen.
Kratos Aurion Plays
You sad person.
Not my fault it's true. Every time I get ready to laugh at something they do or react to and see them forced on the screen I just stop.
Kratos Aurion Plays
Meh, you be you I guess.

First of all the crank question asks for things that had cranks in the old days, and the game is from the 90’s. Obviously the A.I would get it right. IT KNOWS ALL THE ANSWERS

Yeah, that's how I learned how the game worked. It's just always something that's stuck with me XD
I love how Todd got involved!!
The little ceasers near where I live let's the employees eat pizza not picked up. They stopped because they would purposely make orders so they can eat it
“Name something men own that they hate to have other people to play with”
Ndyicks *insert projared smile*
Choatemister that they HATE to have others play with.
I was thinking wife...(ironically of course)
Juan D'Marco correct.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Killer Whales are not a type of whale, they're dolphins. I declare this round to have been invalid due to the Humble family obviously cheating.
TheGreatBeardicus It said "we surveyed a 100 people", meaning that the general public they asked thought killer whales were whales.
so why arent they called Killer Dolphins then? From wiki " The killer whale or orca (Orcinus orca) is a toothed whale belonging to the oceanic dolphin family"
What are you talking about? Killer Whales are whales, not dolphins.
setheurovision94 they are classified as dolphins. Their real name is orca
Dolphins are toothed whales. So the Humble family was correct.
But it was awesome hearing the guy on the video game say, "Bullseye!"
Starts with 'B'. Butcher, baker, blacksmith, banker...
That's even better! lol
Bartender, Barterer, Botonist, Beekeeper,
All good answers!
Baker was my first thought
WayWardWanderer how many blacksmiths do you know though
Mom says “No !”
*Said mom*
it said "in the old days" you guys, not the 90s. maybe 1890s.
Or during WWII.
9:42 Nailed it, 😂😂 Todd’s editing this episode was brilliant 👌
"Clean your room" was my guess too, Todd.
Todd, keep up the comments. They're hilarious
My grandparents have an old fashioned ice cream maker with a hand crank. It makes the best ice ice cream.
The question about things people cranked in the old days. It was meaning the old days like 1930s 40s old days like that lol.
Shmal Shmal that's why old people are all so cranky
And they thought that when they got car right it meant the window except that some of the first cars required cranking to start the engine and that's what it meant.
(Says, "SHUT UP HUMBLE FAM8LY")
Tablet:shows comercial and first thing you see is bumble bee (transformers)
Me:Laughs
Was This When Richard Karn Was Hosting Family Feud,or,Was he Still Al on Home Improvement?
You thought it was the Humble family facing the Ujojo, but It was us! The Obrando!
I love how Todd is just playing with them as well lol
This brings back memories of the gg model car incident
"What kid stays home to read?!?"
I did and I still do!
I'm the third one.
Me too!
Try the Wii version it’s much easier to play
Ryan Mahoney or the computer version(s) are good too.
Probably because the SNES one was from 1992 and the Wii one was from 2011
I remember seeing a manual ice cream maker at a family reunion. They put sugar, milk and ice cream into a sort of container and then it was cranked by hand from the stop. My father's family is fairly old fashioned.
It's okay, Todd. I still read for fun.
Also, telephones used to (up until the 50’s, so like 40 years before this game came out, so olden days that a kid playing this game in the late 80’s/early 90’s would have grandparents who would talk about old stuff) have a hand crank that created an electrical current to start your call. Can you actually imagine walking into a room and your mom just says “Don’t”.
It just means your mom knows your mischief well enough to anticipate it before you can cause any trouble.
I’m liking the “back to roots” feeling I’m getting from pb&jeff lately :D
"Something a mother says to her child over and over again:" "No."
AHAHA I was seriously typing a comment about that being an option that should be on top AND THEN THEY GUESSED IT AND IT WAS ON TOP. Clearly I am an expert at Family Fued for the SNES.

"I went to get my mail and the mail guy was there, I just left."
I relate so much! 😂
My family had an ice cream maker in the 90's. Strawberry was a favorite.
I love how Todd was putting his input in throughout the vid lol. Do more
God i love Todd's editing comments
I did have one of those those shaved ice makers in the 90's where you did have to use a crank.
I'm still waiting for more Top Shop
The game is just too good
*Humble family applauds themselves when they win the round* Evidently their family name means nothing to them.
I love watching you and jeff play game show games, keep on making more!
2:56 I've never heard of it at all.
3:32 *Sigh*
6:38 That was close.
10:40 They are still a thing today. Just not common.
11:17 Generally it's good to pass if you have a good grasp on the question. Because if the other family can't clear the board you can steal with only one right answer.
12:01 The old days Todd not the 90s.
“Yes” is a terrible guess. I don’t know why they got mad about that one
Why? If "No" is on the table then "Yes" was a good guess too!.
megagutsman except people don't remember all the stuff their parents let them do, they remember what they were told no about.
*+Blue Battle Gaming* Pal, just tell me something: When they do shows like this one they tell the people they are interviewing about the possible answers, or am I wrong? Because if not then I can understand "Yes" *not* being on the table.

*+Some Random Guy* "Surveyed", that was the word!. Sorry, am Latin American and, even though am pretty good at English, I always forget 1 or 2 words.
Oh, and that explains everything, thanks!.
Super old timey phones totally had cranks
Confirmed Jeff and Austin do not make a good family
The bullseye round at the beginning is ONLY the number 1 answer. Your answers were probably right, just not the number 1 (or the "bullseye"), which is all the first round is.
My grandparents had a ice cream maker. We’ve used it a few times, it still works.
I used to live up the street from the Ujojo family.
They were terrible people.
Family so humble, they clap as they delete another family from existence.
Wait, that's not very Humble.
I LOVE Family Feud. I'm pausing when the question goes up so I don't hear the Ujojo's answers just to see if we thought the same thing.
1. Boxer
2. Pizza
3. Financial Planner
4. Car
5. Blue
I'll put three guesses for this part
6. Don't touch, clean your room, brush your teeth
7. (I have no idea with this one.) Generator, gramophone, clothes squeezer thing
8. Watch TV, play video games, sleep
FAST MONEY
1. King
2. Cotton
3. Dolphin
4. Sugar
5. Rose
I wouldn't have won either since a lot of the answers were the same thing. Nobody would've said, "Don't touch" and then "Don't". Play an updated version. I used to have a DVD game with Richard Karn way back in the day. I think I played it once.
The game where "C D Player" and "Model Car" are the same thing.
Apparently the game checks answers by looking at the order of the letters, so in that case it would be like
*C* d pl *A* ye *R*
Or in other words, Car, which is close enough to the full answer "Model Car"
Yeah, that makes sense. I was making a reference to Game grumps if you didn't know.
The wash your hands answer makes more sense than it ever has
Also I had a snow cone maker not an ice cream one
Next episode, it's PB and Jeff versus Todd.
Wow thanks for calling me out at 15:00 because I’m watching this video when my homework is next to me
Judging just from the title, I foresee that Peebs' and Joof's moms will show up, reprimand them for playing too many video games, and will take over for the rest of the episode.
Athena Blade if only
That would have been hilarious.
Yo, Todd, my family used to make ice cream all the time with a hand crank mixer. We still have one and have been talking about bringing it out this summer.
9:22 GOD TODD ME TOO
12:40 Have I achieved a mind link...
15:02 I guess not. I was thinking of sledding, like on a snow day.
Dang Todd was on the ball today
We had an ice cream maker back in the 90's but it was definitely electric. Although I have seen hand cranked ice cream makers.
I liked how Todd was guessing along, but then I realized that he was editing and for all we knew he could've known the answers already lol
There's an incredible TAS of this game. Ya'll should check it out.
Wilfred Cthulu please who are you? Why are you everywhere?
I would like the answer to this question as well as the link to this tas
Miles Bernath ua-cam.com/video/k5tyMXXDPX4/v-deo.html
I am Wilfred Cthulu. You see me everywhere because you are also everywhere.
ABACADABRA I WIN
That family name....
Is this a JOJO REFERENCE?!?
UJOJO's Weird Adventure - Feud Tendency
Yea they used humbel
*humble
Funny thing is that Killer Whale answer is wrong. Killer Whales are considered Dolphins.
BlackKyurem5 I was thinking the same thing
It doesn’t matter though because family feud uses people’s survey answers
BlackKyurem5 they are dolphins
- Lijosu - you are fun at party's right
my mom had a plastic ice cream makers that used a crank of sorts to stir all the ingredients together. But it must not have worked very well, because i only remember using it a few times.
I used to rent this back in the day. I was always amused how all of the characters either looked angry or skeptical.
Aw Todd...*Virtually hugs.*
Ah man. I remember playing this game at my grandparents as a kid. I still have it! Your mindset when answering really has to be set in the early 90's.
My Great Grandma had a crank Ice cream maker. Best chocolate ice cream ever! I would read in bed when I stayed home from school. lol
Honestly, this game is always fun to see people play, because the recognition of answers is really weird and some of the antiquated answers also make it funny to see the contrast between modern players and the time when the game was made. In other words; I wouldn't mind another episode or two.
looove watching you two play gameshow games together! hope to see more
We had a hand crank ice cream maker. We used it all of 3 times growing up. It is still in my parents basement collecting dust.
My family had an ice cream maker and the adults used it to tire us out
Jobs that start with B:
Baker, banker, fireman
I thought the title was a reference from Arthur’s mom saying *NO* to playing computer games....
*Austin ur grounded until u make a new Arthur video*
Milkysquid Said mom
There are quite a bit of Family Feud PC games. I played two of them so far.
ujojos bizarre adventure
Nice Ujojo reference.
That was a great Ujojoke
I used to be a gamer like you, then I took a Family Feud to my pride...
“What kid stays home from school to read?!”
The same kid who asks if they have homework at the end of class.
I have a mighty need for this to be a series
Yes, my mom had an ice cream maker in the 90s!
my Mom Always Knew When I Was Faking Sick to Get Out of Going to School,But She Was Also Super Sympathetic to The Fact That I Was Going Through Hell When I Was in School,so She Just Let me Stay Home Anyway
"UJOJO"
*BLOODY STREAM BLARES IN THE DISTANCE*
I’ve never yelled “Clean your room” so loud before, I feel like my parents.😂😂
“Old times” meaning 1911+ I believe because that’s the only time I can think of a car and telephone needing to be cranked, lol.
It’s time to play Family Feud
6:19
Um guys, is there something you want to tell us.
My friend had one that we used to make ice cream as part of it group prom date.
Todd playing along gives me life
2:15 oh that round, you have to guess the top answer i think... my country used to have its own version of family feud with a different name and it used to have this round before the first round even started
This is how the Family Feud used to play :) It started off with quick, single-answer questions before deciding who started the board. They just cut that part out later on (I certainly don't know this from spending one summer in high school doing nothing but watching the Game Show channel >.>)
