    I thought I was doing the simple join and came here to learn the chain, now I realise I’m not doing any of these methods but what I’m doing is working so I’m not sad

      That happens to me too....happy accident. If you like the way the join looks, then KEEP GOING! Thanks for watching.

    Interesting demo, Jenny. I’ve done a ten-stitch square blanket with the chain seam. Will check out your other videos for how to begin the ten-stitch circle. Thank you.

    Thanks so much - I always liked the chain stitch but tried the first one this time [for going around the circle] - and like it but think I'll try the third one now that I'm leaving the circle - I think it will work - we'll see! It looks like it''s faster and I wouldn't mind that!

    Hi
    Can you help tell me on a ten stitch square blanket preferably where can I change colours

    • @jennyknits
      @jennyknits  3 роки тому

      You'll have to choose which side of the blanket will be your "right" side. Then you will change colors on the right-hand side of the lane you are working.
      So depending on which side is your "right" side, you may be starting a new color on the inside edge of the lane or the outside edge of the lane.
      I hope that makes sense.

    • @joan66joshua

      Thank you Jenny
      So basically with the right side facing us, the lane on the right is where we change colours

    • @jennyknits
      @jennyknits  3 роки тому

      @@joan66joshua Yes. The right side of the lane you are currently working.
      It's the same when you are knitting any flat work...you always change colors on the right-hand edge of the right side.
