G M Sir , The subject for today is quite simple to look at, but it creates complex problems between the Advocate and their clients on the subject of FEES ..what you hav explained is correct ,if the same is followed and clear to both sides i think the difference gap will be covered up when such issue comes up ,in my openion and almost the relationship will continue in smooth way. If the highly qualified professionals live a simple life and spend more time studying good quality books and journals this country will be better served.
Very informative sir and fee finalization is most important before hiring advocates.. Sometimes even though client pays fees as committed, we don't get proper legal support some advocates don't attend court regularly sir, they say that they will attend court only when needed and they don't communicate to court what client says to judge, this may also hamper case duration, unnecessarily cases will be dragged for future dates just for serving notice...
When greed for big settlement grows as greed the fees is like mere pickle to taste for time being. in my case the lawyer knew as a defender and being lonely and stuck with my bedridden brother. He agreed for the settlement money at the end of the case. He made a strategy to submit and push me to the decision and execution against which I was demanding him to appeal. Therefore, he totally misled me and manipulate whole case to push into execution. I asked another lawyer that why he is putting it for execution he also got surprised that the opposite lawyer supposed to go for execution not your own lawyer..!! Later it surprised me after lot of argument with him he directly said he came there for execution..!! His idea was to get the settlement money from me by letting the execution process go ahead without any resistance which helps opposite party and lawyer automatically by showing me as a Ex party to the whole case. As I was badly and deeply involved in my case sacrificing my career and dignified life to realise all this game otherwise if I had just superficially attended the court proceedings I never have got the idea that what the hell he was playing with my case.
Almost Every criminal cases hearings going and going since from decades, Still conclusion and judgement is pending . Why indian law system is too slow lazy advocates mentality?????
Most of the citizen/ litigants/ clients don't know why the Judiciary takes decades to decide a Case. 1. Judges are not accountable 2. Advocates are not accountable 3. Inefficiency of both 4. Incompetency of both 5. Insufficient law knowledge 6. Inexperienced 7. Greedy nature of some Lawyers 8. Corruption 9. Bad policy 10. Bad administration Because of wrong Judgment, the litigants have to pay penalty in the form of paying Lawyers fees in the Appellate court Because of Lawyers fault in not presenting the cas,then also litigants have to pay penalty in the form of Lawyers fees in the upper court. IF YOU GO TO AN INCOMPETENT DOCTOR HE WILL NOT CURE THE DISEASE , SIMILARLY HERE
Sir, In hassan district court I have witnessed some lawyers fleecing clients before filling the petition before the court. So please advise your young subordinates to be reasonable.
Sir, i like all your videos, Agreed to you if advocates tell complete estimation or total fees (approximate). But the game here is, Most will ask money in staggered way without telling you a rough budget of entire case. They term it as Professional fees.😂 Whenever you call them to check case status, they will ask fees(Professional fees)😂 Their fees depends on your Salary(financial status) not fixed for any particular case 😂. They(Juniors) call you to Court during some court hearing and again some money is involved OR you have to pay for photocopy(Xerox) and sometimes they ask you to pay exorbitant charge for simple Notary signature(court premise). Notary Signers are too involved in the loot.😂 Its a big list......😂 Everybody, once in their life time have to involve in legal matters and advocates are our saviors 😂. You cant escape the fees.😅
