Just found out this trail existed, definitely gonna check it out this year ... And I woulda been so stoked to randomly see both of you legends at the bike park!
I found his cannondale chase on the bike rack at a bike shop. The mechanic working was selling it and it was the first good mountain bike I ever owned. This was 2005 I sold it to a friend he sold it to another friend and then another friend bought it. The frame is hanging on my friends wall in his garage today 2024.
Loving your videos and how you include legends from when I first got into riding (i.e. Chase, Trappe, and of course yourself). Keep making awesome vids!
so cool to see you guys in my neighborhood! been riding highland and following you guys since the new world disorder days!! thanks for the updates and great content!
It's great to hear from Aaron again. He was a huge influence on me back in my riding days. I missed the time he came to ride UCSC campus with my friends at 180 Magazine. I was sad to miss the ridiculous tire tap that I'm pretty sure no one else has done since. But I did get your secret to pedal grinds (Back pedal a bit and grab a ton of rear brake.) from my friends and it was a staple of my street riding there after. I even made my own grind pedal by removing the pins from one side of my left pedal and replacing them with a steel grind plate bolted on in the front and back of the pedal body. And of course I had the ghetto free coaster mod.
Yoooo I just attempted Gentle Giant a few weeks ago! I find it scarier than Fort Hill. It's much more technical! I still have yet to muster the courage to hit the massive table top after the right hand shark fin 😆
For a lot of the east coast nothing has changed. If you want to ride anything but boring XC trails, you have to find some urban trials furniture or build it yourself.
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss you ride alot of back country which I love!! Have you ever had the chance to ride Nepaug in CT, I've ridden alot from Kingdom, to highland to creek, to killingotn to Vietnam, but Nepaug is the hidden gem in CT. The best tech and freeride back country gaps, rollers, drops I have ever ridden. Definitely got to earn your turns there
un jour je viendrais 🤘🏾

Jeff what's your opinion on powder ridge? I see you've been to MANY,MANY places mtb'n

Powder/Gentle Giant is so freaking chunky... Fort Hill is so damn smooth!!!
New world disorder... Smackdown! That's where I first saw Jeff. No pain, no gain!
How big are these jumps compared to Fort Hill?
Hey Jeff, what pad compound do you use? Is it different depending on the bike?
I use metallic a lot of the time.
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss Sweet man thanks for the reply. Only recently found your channel but loving the videos, keep them coming!
