- I'm taking the challenge to show you how I style midi length skirts, but the most exciting thing is that I have four other amazing women styling up midi length skirts for their body type and their personal style. It was amazing! In a world of celebrities being dressed by their stylists, I so appreciate women dressing themselves in their own styles, knowing their bodies, possible challenges and assets. Thank you Beth! Yes to always play dress up!
I can't imagine someone else dressing me. I like to switch it up. I feel like most celebs (except Rihanna) get put in a style box and silhoutte and colors.

I'm 5'2 and size 4. I wear midi skirts a lot! I love them and I have several. I wear fuller and slim ones. The trick, like your fun petite ladies said, is waist emphasis and the right styling. :) Thank Beth!

@@oohnaturel5717 heels and a continuous line. Either boots or tights the same color as your shoes help. Higher waisted is a great way to lengthen. And look for the best skirt and fit, it's okay to shop around till you find the one. Good luck and happy shopping!
I love my midi skirts! I am quite short and on the curvier side, but that doesn’t stop me 😀 I usually wear mine with sneakers, t-shirts and a denim jacket.

Thanks for the ideas, for my new midi dresses and skirts. Appreciate different body types (I am tall but big). On challenges, lux sport. Bought new sweat pants that need elevated (I know I know but I love them - found some men's drop-crotch knitted sweats - so good). Also color blocking video, I need help with color mixing. OMG! I'm pretty sure I bought the exact same vintage Pendleton skirt over the winter in my size. That is so crazy! I agree though, it's fabulous. The colors, pleats, length, fabric, I've been having so much fun styling it. Mostly with burgundy, sapphire, and plums though, so I'm really excited to play around with that gorgeous pale blue. Also, I looooved the new challenge and seeing all the different looks! Midis are my go to closet staple, but I still got a lot of new inspiration and ideas from watching this.
Also, I wish you showed more of YOUR midi skirt outfits. I like your style the best but the other ladies did beautiful stylings as well. I'm happy to see a diverse range of body shapes represented here.

I really liked this! Different perspectives is always good and shows how we are a community. And I want to say how great it is to have role models of self-expression in fashion. Growing up, I was ALWAYS hiding away, busy creating different looks and outfits. Usually alone in my room. I thought maybe I was weird because I was too old to be playing dress up, right?? Isn't that what kids do? But I LOVED IT and could never stop. You have very directly asserted that playing is self-expression and creation and I feel like I found a piece of me here. :) ALWAYS PLAY DRESS UP

This is an awesome video! I wouldn't have started wearing midi-skirts if it were not for you! You are amazing in that you truly listen to your viewers and put the work into including more body types. That's just so awesome! I have a few midi-skirt posts on my IG if you want to check them out. And as body types go, I don't think I could possibly be more opposite than you but I make it work because you give me the confidence to do so!

Amazing video, just what i needed! Have been wanting to try and wear a midi skirt, but was afraid that i would look even shorter. Not afraid anymore and super inspired! Would love more, maybe tips on styling oversized blazers?!
I love this video especially the last stylist because we have similar style and body type! I am 5’ and always wore what I wanted, def in the it’s how you style the outfit. I also look into celebrities that are my height and body frame like the Olsen twins or Nicole Ritchie who have their own style.
