Ito ang tunay na makabayan. Instead of promoting his own business, encourages other small bakeries and bakers... Saludo po kami sa inyo Ka Chito at sa lahat ng mga pandero ng Pilipinas...
He is right. We should go back to the original recipe of pan de sal. Much like the Pan de Sal ni Pa-a, a family bakery in Iloilo City. It has existed before the war and has its own original recipe. The pan de sal is not sweet and goes perfectly paired with coffee!
This should be picked up by GMA, ABS, or paid streaming platforms. Good production and editing. Jessica is really good and funny. Biyahe ni Drew vibes.
I just love your Trabaho series. Thank you for doing this. It was also great hearing Ka - Chito talk about pan de sal. He is just so proud of his craft. That iconic seal clap of Jessica whenever she is excited on something hahahha so cutie
I rarely comment on videos but more than Jessica and the team's effort of putting out quality content like this, its ka-Chito's passion in his craft and genuine dedication to serve his country by proactively involving smaller farmers in his business that really inspired me the most. Philippines is primarily still an agricultural country, and these small scale farmers need us the most to continue their purpose of bringing in food to every Filipino's table. Cheers to Trabaho Series, Jessica!
Sir Chito is such an eloquent speaker, not pretentious at all, no fillers or unnecessary mannerisms, with the right pace and pauses so we can easily follow. But most of all, he speaks with passion, patriotism, and sincerity that can really make you want to start baking, not just for yourself but for our fellow Filipinos and the pride of the Philippines. I've always wondered what business I'd want to start and now I'm thinking having a small bakery and cafe might just be the one! Imagine walking into the bakery every day, smelling the wonderful fresh bread and coffee, seeing customers relaxing and enjoying them. It doesn't matter if it's not a huge profit generator. It would be a simply joy and service to others.
I love pandesal and malunggay pandesal with mainit na kape sa umaga. Salamat sa mga panadero na gumagawa ng mga tinapays. Salute po sa inyong lahat❤❤❤ the national bread of the Philippines - *PAN DE SAL*
this was such an in-depth and informative episode! I love how very eloquent Ka Chito was in speaking deep tagalog words. you can tell that he is really very passionate about his work by that long tagalog speech that he made during the chit-chat. I feel like the new season of the trabaho series really leveled up a lot. also, seeing you baking pan de sal made me remember when Song Jihyo of Running Man came to visit Manila for a tv-show where she visited the house of a little boy and after that she went and sold pan de sal on the streets :3
Ms. Jessica, proud of you for doing this. Kudos to your team too for videos that are getting better and better - cinematography, flow, content... This video is like a TV show!!
Trabaho suggestions: *Street sweeper, BALOT vendor, make up artist, construction worker, personal assistant , street BBQ vendor, call center agent, pedicab driver, at mangi-ngisda or swimming coach.* Hehehe 😁❤🥰😍❤️😍🥰 God bless you, Jess and fighting!!! We Love you and your videos💖
I lived for 9 yrs along Don Quijote Street while studying at UST for my college and professional degrees which was why Tinapayan had been an integral part of my psyche. It was really nice to see its evolution. The old granny (owner) used to watch customers from somewhere within the eatery or bakery back then, sometimes she helped out, too. Anyway, thank you for bringing forth fond memories. I truly enjoyed this amazing episode featuring the humble but tasty pandesal.
I am proud to have come from Cuenca Batangas, “The Home of the Bakers!” I am equally blessed that I am a granddaughter of panaderos and as a toddler I lived in a house in Manila with a bakery downstairs. My grandfather and grandmother were both panaderos and used to own bakeries in Manila including one that my grandfather and his brothers owned called “Comia Bros Bakery.” Congratulations po, Tito Chito Lucito Chavez, our “Tinapay King” and President of the Asosasyon ng Panaderong Pilipino, for continuing our heritage and the legacy of being panaderos! I’m proud of what you have been achieving, for your dedication, and for continuously raising the flag of Cuenca Batangas. Thank you, Jessica for being a panadero for a day! Well done 👍🏻!!! Aloha and watching you from Hawai’i, USA 🇺🇸🌺🌈🤙🏻🫰🏻🙏🏻
So nice! During the pandemic, Tinapayan was there to support the health workers and employees of Manila health department during duties. Thank you so much Tinapayan for making us full. I learned a lot from this video. Ka Chito is so passionate no wonder their products has good quality.
Kudos sayo Jess, parang sanay na sanay ka na sa mga trabaho Dito sa Pinas.. more trabaho pa.. fighting!!! Hahaha Ang cute mo sa ending 22:43 super Nakaka aliw ka talaga Jessica. 😅😅😅😅 love you and ingat ka palagi!!😍😘🥰❤️
Good day. No words can describe how good a person Chito Chavez is. Mabait, matulungin, magaling humawak ng mga tauhan, hindi nananamantala ng kapwa, atbp. MABUHAY ka Chito and more power to you. And to you Jessica keep up the good work
Hey, another good one from Jessica's Trabaho Series. Featuring "Pan de Sal". I like the part where Ka-Chito mentioned actually bringing back to the original pandesal as we've consumed and enjoyed it back in the years when we will just fill it with peanut butter, condensed milk or even just dunk it in our coffee in the morning. Those are good times. Thanks for featuring "Tinapayan." I haven't tried any of their products, but I guess this entity could rival Valerio's here in the U.S.
I once worked at a Pizza place in New Orleans many years ago. I worked for a day making Pizza crust and assembling Pizza boxes. I didn't go back, I didn't even collect my pay. It was hard work. It seems like its better to work for a bakery. Anyway Jessica seemed to take the baking part really well, I'm not sure if Jessica got all the deep tagalog history lesson from the owner auto translated in her brain realy quickly, she seemed baffled by the rapid succession of deep Tagalog words and looked lost in the translation, her eyes said it all. Thank you for the video though, It was good to watch.
I can always watch the process of making bread or any trabaho in another yt video but seeing jessica working really hard and having a hard time just make it more visual. Great editing and vid, looking forward to your next eps of trabaho series.
Kudos to this Trabaho series. Another great episode. You captured the employees hard work, dedication and pride in what they do. The owner’s speech about the pride, love and care for his business should be an inspiration to others that are thinking of opening their own business. Bravo Jessica for this content and your hard work. Cannot wait for the next series.
My father also a baker in bakery here in Bulacan. He makes different kinds of bread like, pandesal, otap, inipit, cookies and etc. Thanks for this trabaho series jessica. I really love this vlog💗💗
easily my most favorite episode in the trabaho series 🍞 I also admire Ka-chito's love for his craft and the country! I discern an exemplary servant leader in him! 🇵🇭
hello po , Ka Chito, yes po I aggree, me ,for one ,really longs for the original taste of pandesal...you see,i've been away for so long from our country, and as a balikbayan, the first thing that i wanted to eat is our very own pandesal...but, to my disgust the said pandesal are so sweet!!! and i said to myself that maybe my taste bud had change as human grows old...until i had the chance to see this vlog...please po ,bring back pandesal's original taste, thank you
Love this trabaho series! Love how the owner speaks fluent Tagalog and how proud and passionate he is of their family business. Love your enthusiasm in exploring different local jobs and showcasing local businesses. More power to you and your crew! :)
To all the Stores owner I Thanks you all so much na mag trabaho for a day sa Stores ninyo si Jessica for a day It's amazing I Salute you all God Bless you all ❤😊
Best of all, I love that you have this series. It shows the different types of jobs people have and how each job is special in its own way. Too often the current generation (esp. here in the U.S.) seems to not appreciate the different types of honest livelihood available.
great episode for your trabaho series.. i watched it again.. the guy in charge, assisting you make pandesal from scratch is very helpful & thoughtful as well, always reminding you how not to get burnt in the process. the owner is knowledgeable of the pandesal history and shares his thoughts & lessons in the industry. funny when he delivered that long Tagalog speech & Jessica was looking so lost in translation..haha More trabaho series Jessica!
Wow! This episode is extra level. I love the last part where you gave the owner an airtime explaining and sharing more about the business. Kudos to Jessica and to your team! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jessica! I love your Trabaho series so much!!! Super inspiring and I am learning a lot 🥰😊 More Trabaho series and Paborito Series please!!! ❤❤❤ Great job Jessica and team! Thank you for producing quality content 😁
Hahahahha ‘yung magtatanong talaga pero muntik na masunog ‘yung pandesal 🤣 Ty for a very nice & Informative video Jessica. Glad that you enjoyed it too. ❤
I remember from back in the day, while stationed at Subic Naval Base as a young Marine, every libo day I would go to this little wooden shack right outside the main gate and buy two bags of fresh, hot just made pandesal! It was so good! I no bull-shit you! Then I would walk across the street to where there was this sweet beautiful Filipina and she would fry me up dalawa itlog just prefect, where the whites were all cooked, crispy edges and runny yolk. I probably should have married her instead of the other one. Oh well. Word was, the secret ingredient to making that pandesal taste so good, is that they cooked it with the used fried chicken oil from on base. To this day, I have yet to find pandesal that taste as good.
Cuenca, Batangas is the Home of the Bakers in the country. It has Tinapayan Festival and it is just amazing that despite having many bakeries, each bakery provides different varieties of bread from the other.
Love the part when she said you really have to have pride in the product that you make/produce --- Ka Chito really had that! Amazing content --- maybe my fave from the series!

I love this creeew! They teach well and really let you experience the work and let you try again many times. 🥺 The standard though is pretty high but you did it well.
Hearing Ka-Chito's how he speaks is like hearing a patriotic speech. the one who he encourages other bakers to do not stop learning. he really lived the "Tinapay King" moniker .

I loved this episode. Pandesal is the most important thing I’m looking forward to in the Philippines. I would be in heaven if I could find an apartment near a bakery and bask in the aroma in perpetuity.
wait... this is Jessica's take on the tv show day-off this awesome. the only difference is no one is taking a day-off 😅 ( i remember dasuri doing this )

honestly, she can replace Drew. He's too picky and isn't a foodie lol
@@Moss_pigletsagree po, walang ka arte arte si Jessica.
No way! It'll be too filtered and corny. Also, there are writers behind the scenes and she'll just be the host. Her creativeness will be limited.

I loved this episode. Pandesal is the most important thing I’m looking forward to in the Philippines. I would be in heaven if I could find an apartment near a bakery and bask in the aroma in perpetuity.
Your doing great Jessica! Galing ng team mo. Try to be a florist next time. ..
