Before my beautiful friend Brooke went to be with Jesus, I got the opportunity to surprise her and share a song I wrote for her. This is "Never Ever Give Up," written for the strongest little girl I know.

I remember seeing Brooke at an absolutely wonderful place I volunteer at called Ronald McDonald Camp. It always pains me to hear when one of our campers passes away, but I take some comfort in thinking that they're up with the many stars in the sky, and it motivates me to keep fighting for and supporting children like her.
Awe she passed 😞 but she Faught😊💯God bless rip Brook 🙏

Words cannot express the full extent of my gratitude for taking the time out of your busy schedules to brighten up this amazing little girl's day. I had the opportunity to meet Brooke last year at a truly wonderful place called Ronald McDonald Camp, and while I am deeply saddened by her passing, I take comfort in knowing she is now one of the stars in the sky shining down on us.
This brought tears to my eyes. I lost my brother because of cancer, I know how hard this disease is in any family.. 😢 Brooke is with the Lord now where there is no more pain. May God bless and comfort her family. Thanks to Matthew West and family for blessing others.

What I like so much about Matthew is that he seems so accessible. Like his 24 places in 24 hours--I am sure there are others that are like this also, but He just seems to be just like the "guy next door". I thank God for people like you, Matthew.
Absolutely beautiful, I got the chance to meet brooke 5 years ago when my elementary school threw party for her. She moved out of my neighborhood a couple years ago and has been in my prayers since. It's heartbreaking that she had to leave us so soon, but I'm so glad she is not in pain anymore and is with our lord. My prayers go out to her family.

Mr. Matthew West God has used you to help SOOOO many people no doubt you’ve helped me. This is amazing I know no matter what happens God loves all of us sooooooo much and He is proud of you and the way you love Him and serve Him. No, nobody is perfect or does it perfectly, but you are an inspiration to me because I want to do something like what you do when I grow up and I have a lot of growing to do physically and spiritually but I know God is with me wherever I go. Mathew’s West music brought me back to the one true God, literally. After my husband passed and then 4 years ago I lost my oldest son to cancer, but I always kept praying but I never blamed God and I was taught not to ??? It was his plan, but it got me back into Gods home. Mathew speaks to people with music and many of them I see myself in them. Yes I say I am fine but God know,s the many nights and days of tear’s but no one ever asked about me the inner me but I Sam broken inside. I don’t have to tell God my ups and downs and he knows the truth to things that my own family did, so I know in my heart the truth will be told. Without God you have nothingI had or felt
