My only issue is the cost with DI water. Costs me like $14 to fill my 35-gallon tank from my CR Spotless resin, definitely not gonna do that every time I have to fill it. I just have normal tap water in my tank and then a pump sprayer that has 2 gallons of DIY water that I spray onto the car after the final rinse.

I’d love to know what company you go through…I live in the 559 area too…I detail in my driveway-paying 25-30 a month beats the CR Spotless systems

Found a local 3D shop in my area. So for 20 dollars gets you 9 tokens and each token gets you 20 gallons. 20 dollars gets you 180 gallons. I’ve heard that’s not bad.

deionized water aka no minerals so no water spots when it dries.

DI water leaves no minerals when it dries on the paint so it makes it easier for us to work in the summer heat

I don't pay a penny. I collect rainwater in a tote and filter it out before the pressure washer. Spot free washes for a whiles worth!

We fill up every day sometimes twice a day and we do not get a lot of rain in the Central valley

I use an inline water filter to remove minerals. Minerals is what causes water spots. Hot metal (from the sun) is not ideal.

Washing the car in the sun, can't take any of this seriously. Thumbs down. Never wash your car in the sun and don't let any joker wash your car in the sun because obviously they don't know what they are doing. You can't trust this person anyway, he is a professed LIAR.

🤯 We are a business, we detail cars all day long so we have to figure out a way to get it done in direct sunlight. Whoever told you that you can't wash cars in the sunlight lied to you 😂😂
