I was recently invited to celebrate the launch of Lisa Eldridges new concession in Selfridges and it reminded me of how much I love her makeup range. So this week I'm sharing her new lipstick colour which I adore and I've created a makeup look using my favourite Lisa Eldrirdge products.
And this week I share a great affordable skincare brand - Cetaphil, that is perfect for those of you who suffer with sensitive skin. As with makeup, it’s so important to use the right skincare products to prevent further irritation to your skin. Dang I'm 66, and I am going to use that from now on! Also thank you for introducing me to CETAPHIL, I have sensitive skin, and I had no clue that they make a good SPF!
I only have one question, how do I tell what shade I need (in Lisa Eldridge foundation or other foundations...)??? I end up buying what doesn't match me at all. Of course I'm in the USA, but there must be a WAY to pick out and get at least close... Thank you for all your help and videos :).

I’m in the south of Australia, we’ve been using Cetaphil for many years now. Glad I’m on the bandwagon. I also enjoy Lisa Eldridge’s tutorials, very practical
Gorgeous Caroline and classically Summer. Velvet Bloom looks like the perfect shade to wear to a Summer wedding or garden event. My most used Lisa Eldridge product is Pink Moon. Great to add to face lotion or SPF. Gives that glow and polish to any product. Cetaphil body products are my go to. 🌸

Happy belated Mid-summer Caroline. I love these sunny days too. I appreciate how you too, enjoy the vibrancy of the colours surrounding the UK summer landscapes (the blue sky, green trees, and vibrant flowers in all colours and hues.)
I am such a fan of Lisa Eldridge's products, and most of my lipsticks are from her. She has such an artist's eye for colour. I am pleased to see that she expanded her foundation range with some "#.5" shades. I have a cool olive complexion and might try the 9.5 as a step up in my shade matching. I had 9 and it seemed a wee bit pale. But I love the fact that it's such a light formula, as I'm not really a regular foundation wearer.
Excited by the new lipstick colour...but I have too many that I really should use.

Absolutely stunning, bright, fresh make-up look! It looks gorgeous on you and pairs really well with your denim shirt. I am so pleased you did a Lisa Eldridge product only look. I recently bought one of her cream eyeshadow (Emily shade) and her gloss (rain shade), and It is worth every penny, quality-wise. Lisa and you are the only makeup artist I follow, ad both I love your effortless chic modern make-up style. Regarding Cetaphil, I have been actually the morning cleanser you recommended for a few years for days and nights. It removes my face AND eyes make-up perfectly. I always bought it on a deal and never looked back. That's my cleanser and make-up remover go-to.

My partner recently had a strange reaction on her skin and I put her on just Cetaphil cleanser and moisturiser and that SPF and it did the job. She didn’t react to it and her skin is slowly getting better 😊

Once again you did a great makeup look. I unfortunately did not do well with Lisa Eldridge’s velvet lip color. It was way too dry on my mature lips. The foundation sample was also too dry on me. I did just get the Erborian BB cream and have been using it these past few days. I’m in humid and hot southern Florida for a quick visit with my elderly parents. I’ll see how it works in this humidity!🤪😝

You have inspired me to place an order, Caroline. The ease with which Lisa’s make-up applied (plus the flawless finish) was enough, but the final look was the stuff of dreams. Just beautiful ❤
P.S. I have two boys and a girl. They’re all in their 30s now, but that time between around 14 to 21 was so hard on my wallet and fridge. I remember both boys going through 4 litres of milk a day! They’re all over 6ft now, so I guess that’s why, but good grief. 😂
Lol I only have one boy who’s 15 but he’s drinking 2 litres of milk a day. I can’t keep up!

Lisa Eldridge is my absolute favorite make up brand and the one I have the most products from. The Liquid Lurex is outstanding, and the Velvets. 🤩 My skin is slightly too dry for the Seamless skin foundation but it works with a good hydrating primer.
I tried some of Lisa Eldridge's makeup products, and quite love them all, but not the Seamless skin foundation, as I have dry skin (even I prep it carefully, a lot of toner, essence, serum and hydrating fluid with spf) and the foundation doesn't look good....I feel it doesn't suit our skin type that much. I would've loved a riches texture and bit on the glowy side. Besides that, the other products are really good, the lipsticks above all.

I love a pink-toned make-up! I'm really pale and a bronze based make-up look just makes me to too 'done' and a bit fake. I embrace my porcelain skin and the 'pale and interesting' vibe (not everybody wants to "warm their skin up"), so I don't self tan. Watching a look with a pink theme and no bronzer and warm-toned everything is refreshing! Thank you so much Caroline. I'd love to see more non-bronze looks!

I love Lisa’s products, but they’re not in my budget. After ordering several of her lipsticks over the years and having them not work for me, color wise, I decided to just shop locally for items where I can test them before buying. I am using my velvet muse lipstick as a cheek color and it is absolutely brilliant. I would love to try her eyeshadows and liquid eye paints, but I’ve had to content myself with similar looking products that I can find in local shops. But her products are beautiful, and very luxurious!

What a gorgeous look, so soft and elegant. I also love that Kiko Maxi Mod mascara, I originally bought it for my lower lashes because the brush is small but ended up using it on both upper and lower lashes, great mascara at a great price point 👍

I've got quite a few of Lisa's products. I absolutely love the liquid lurex eyeshadows. I have Emily and Bianca and they are both lovely. I can also say they last a very long time. I have worn both for over 12 hrs at festivals my husband was hosting, and wore Bianca when we did the Queen's walk. I put it on at 10 am and it looked exactly the same at 5am the next morning! Cressida is on my list so it was lovely to see it in action! I really love that look on you. The eye look is one of my go to kind of neutral looks. Must admit I've avoided using bright lipstick for quite a long time, especially if I have a long day ahead. I do find them a bit high maintenance and I suffer from dry lips, so nothing seems to last v long. That colour looks amazing though. Btw I have a 13 yr old boy. He seems to have grown about a foot in the last yr and is often found rummaging around for a snack 🤣. Emma x
So delighted to see the technique of using a lipstick as a blush!! Some of my best blush looks are from lipstick -- people are always asking me what I have on. Kind of lit from within.
Beautiful as always Caroline. I've used the Cetaphil SPF for years but I would say it's on the greasy side, my dry skin loves it. It's so hard finding SPF without alcohol & fragrance and that's a reasonable price xx

I love the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks and eyeshadow. Firm favourites. Unfortunately, found the foundation made my skin look flat and lifeless and dried it out. 😢. Planning on trying out the skincare, which looks amazing x
Ohhhhh...I just adrede velvet morning to my collection. Being in London I had to go to selfridges. I think I tried all the limpies that I don't have😅😅
Just incase this helps anyone with mature but oily skin, I tried the sample packs of this foundation and hated it first try, but played around with it to basically use up and once got hang it's great for oily skin I think. Stays put for a good while, doesn't go mega dewy but not flat cakey either. Cpl people mentioned hard to blend, it is a bit finicky but I use small amounts do section by section not blobs all over and always fingers. Just thought I'd post as most mature skin is drier I know but for anyone oily struggling with foundation in this heat at mo as well, might be worth getting the sample cards to try.
Stunning, just so light and fresh and that lip is gorgeous, I have had a few of Lisa's lipsticks but find they don't stay on, do the velvet lipsticks have more staying power? Xx
