Man you guys made it look so easy. When I went to Japan you could barely move because there was SO many people! Love it! Model's cheekbones are amazing too!
Love both, but I can say the faster prime is definitely showed its strength over the zoom at night. Yesterday I traded my 35mm Sigma Canon mount for the Sony mostly because I had problems with quality bumping up iso on the 5D2 / 5D3. Great photos again :)
I think Jess was actually using the 35mm f1.4! But yes it really did offer a lot more clarity, especially over my older version of the 24-70mm 😆 (the quality isn't quite regularly there with that lens)
@@KayleighJune will be nice if you could do a video just talking a bit more about setings on ur and Jess cameras, lenses f, shutter ect. something that ppl like me :) will now a bit more heheh thank you and greats photos. P.S sorry about my english its my second language
wow, these turned out amazing! and the model's dress went perfectly with the neon lights of the city! I've noticed your do a lot of outdoor shooting in bust metropolitan areas. Do you ever get hassled by passerby's or business owners? I would love to setup more outdoor shoots myself but I'm never sure where I'm TECHNICALLY allowed to shoot and I feel a bit nervous about confrontations with business owners or locals.
I wish you'd put info of each picture as well (iso, aperture and shutter speed). Or at least a few examples. I still had no chance to take pics at night time with minimal lighting so a bit scared to even try.
I did mention my settings in this video of an aperture of f2.8 ISO 1000 - 1600. My shutter speed was around 1/100 and didn't really ever change, the only thing that changed was the ISO. 🙂 Don't be scared! It's a lot of fun, and a good challenge!!
I love how all of these turned out! Seems like a very sweet and talented model as well. I was wondering, do you girls know much Japanese, and if not, do you find it difficult navigating Japan? I'd love to travel there someday, but my Japanese is quite basic and I worry about not knowing enough & getting lost.
We only know the basics too! I've been to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima, I honestly haven't ever had a problem in any of those places in terms of getting lost or being lost in translation. Most of the signs will have both English & Japanese and the people are SO lovely, most people are willing to help you if you are confused about anything! My partner and I actually have a travel vlogging channel here: ua-cam.com/channels/6IyfRB4nVL5RUElIjEk2cg.htmlfeatured It might give a bit more insight! 😊
A nice video and you caught some good moments there but I would have liked to see you have the model interacting more with the environment instead of just using it as a background.
Love it Kayleigh & Jess.... oh so jealous ..Tokyo is a dream for night photography
Thank you so much, it absolutely is! 😍😍
What a dream shoot - in love with all the shots! I love seeing Jess and yourself together too!

Great shots ladies. The lottery that comes when using available light is what makes them fun.
Thank you! Haha, lottery is the perfect word for it! 😂

Wow you both collaborated together!!! Jessica and Kayleigh! love the Auzzi accent vs the American.
Now I'm curious as to how the 50mm 1.8 would've performed :D
Mihir Jain do you have one? And would you recommend it?

That area is a very touristy area with many people taking photos. You won't really have a problem.
Loving the concept!
