Hi, I see you have turned the flanges off your middle set of coupled wheels, is this to run on a tighter radius than normal ? And if so what radius size are you using for your layout ? I'm building a GWR 4-6-0 county loco and working out what radii I can get away with for the garden layout design. With thanks
I got this loco as a box of bits and the coupled wheels had already been machined with the flanges taken off. I've tried it on my track just pushing it by hand that only has a 5ft radius and it is a bit tight but can only just make it. I don't think I would risk running it on steam on my small track for the risk of it derailing.
