  • Hello Everyone! This video will be about how to make a Multivibrator Circuit using the LM358 Op-Amp. In other words, we will be using the LM358 Op-Amp to create a Flashing LED Circuit. At the end of the video around 3:23, I provide a Circuit Diagram. Also, please excuse my spelling for "Watching" at the end :)
This Circuit works on the Concept of an RC Timer at the Inverting input. This determines the delay time between flashes. Additionally, the 100k Resistor acts as Negative Feedback also along with an RC Timer. At the Non-Inverting Input, There is a Voltage Divider to get this Circuit to 4.5V because 9/2 = 4.5. Then, with the same value as the Voltage Divider Resistors, there is Positive Feedback coming in. With all of that, the Op-Amp Compares the two inputs, and as a Result Generates Pulses of Electricity at a time, so that the LED blinks
    Components Required:
    -LM358 Op-Amp
-3x Resistors (Any Value) and HAVE TO BE THE SAME VALUE
-LED and Series Resistor for LED
-10uf Capacitor (If you use Larger Capacitance, the Delay time Will Increase)
    -100k Resistor
    - [3-12V] Power Supply
    -Connectors
    Circuit Diagram: 3:23
