Absolutely love John Cleese. I have watched a lot of tv shows and movies he has been over the years, and he has an incredible sense of humour and wit. One thing I have found very Interesting is that he looks, sounds and thinks very similar to my late Grandfather.
But in spite of being the nastiest Python, it was really Palin all along. Cleese is one of the celebs I've long been charmed and reassured by. But they're the Pythons were all actors, and all in the club.
"One thing I have found very Interesting is that he looks, sounds and thinks very similar to my late Grandfather." Not to mention they're both dead! They must be good friends.
I saw him live this evening. His offsider, Monty Franklin, said he and Cleese will be staring in a movie about the Great Emu War that will be out later this year.
I have experienced an out of body experience during an angiogram when my heart stopped and I could hear voices in the theatre and could see myself on the table. Very strange but not frightening.

John Cleese refers to a famous anecdote of the hispanic female named "Maria" who saw the tennis shoe on a ledge. This story has been debunked, and she also worked at the hospital and could easily have had prior knowledge, assuming that the actual shoe existed in the first place. The only case in history that is somewhat interesting from a scientific perspective is the case of Pam Reynolds.
Contrary to popular misconception, John Cleese is not , and never was, as tall as your average fully grown communal garden ostrich! JC is 6 ft, 6½ inches tall, whereas the average fully grown adult ostrich is approximately 7 ft, 9¾ inches!!
This was a great random find. Cleese and the host had a great rapport. I dont think there was any offence taken on either side, they were just mining for jokes for our amusement and they succeeded.
There were so many reports of OBE's (Out of body experiences) in UK hospitals that doctors stuck coloured labels on top of equipment in the operating room high off the ground and patients who had an OBE correctly described the coloured labels meaning they had to have been high above them ! .
Took me a couple of reads of this to realise that you weren't referring to the British honour that stands for 'Officer of the British Empire'. It definitely made more sense when I instead read it as 'Out of Body Experience'.

True brilliance! A gift of my generation!!! Great interview, never seen JC so relaxed! Thank you.
I thought these hosts were genuine, funny, and terrific, and they didn't try too hard. It flowed nicely and they kept up with John. Well done.
My thoughts exactly! Extremely enjoyable and well done interview.
The word LEGEND gets thrown around too loosely in my opinion but in John Cleese's case, it's just so fitting !

Legend of comedy, so glad he keeps travelling to Aust. I still laugh at his stuff 😀

The legend JOHN CLEESE
He's a commonsense hilarious gem that man, God bless him !!
We love you John. The way your mother loved you
The host that made him burst out laughing and clap can just retire there. You made a joke good enough to make John Cleese laugh, you have peaked.
I am so excited to be going to see him in person this Friday for the first, and possibly last, time. Man's been a hero of mine since childhood.
How was it?
Such a wonderfully JOYFUL and hilarious human being.
A great hero of mine. If I had one wish from a genie it would be that he could live for another century, but only if he wanted to.
He's an absolute legend
Seeing him in Sydney! Can't wait! Booked out, added a last minute show to Sydney's tour! Lucky!
I saw him in Brisbane tonight. He was awesome. Enjoy! 😊

Just the look and smiles given to Mr. Cleese in this interview is a testament to the man.
Good that someone of note is speaking the obvious about consciousness - Well done Sir Cleese
It’s nice to see him in a good mood for a change
He’s right about nurses being interested and doctors not. Nurses see this kind of stuff all the time and work closely with people.
