Jen, I know I normally give you a hard time, but I wanted to pop in and say that I *really* appreciate how much you uplift other creators, and how you chose community over cash so many times. Thanks for a great review and details! Would you say this runs big? I don’t often wear a medium, but there is a huge gap between the S/M and L/XL, and I’m not sure which way to go.

I think FFF is FINALLY bouncing back from the pandemic because for the past two years it’s been some Publishers Clearing House level crap to choose from. They are starting off 2023 with a bang with great brands and choices. Still not ready to resubscribe but that is not for any reason other than I’m saving up for travel/vacay! Great video!

same, i used to purchase FFF but it was basically just a bunch of crap, seems a lot better now or at least this season
I was excited only to find out that almost all the stuff I was looking forward to was unavailable 😢
Everything decent was sold out before seasonal members had a chance to customize, so, at least going by the box I will receive, nothing but crap again. There isn't one thing I'm remotely excited about receiving after I was so happy to see all the great choices.
I wonder if only seasonal members got the shaft or if items sold out while annual members were still customizing.

I really wanted that blue CZ necklace but by the time I got around to picking my choices, it was gone! I’m a teacher so I wasn’t able to do it until school was out. I wasn’t super thrilled with my choices this season.
My ex brought me the whole Innisfree green tea line back from Korea. For a few weeks until my skin got really peely and blotchy. I never knew why. Two years later I went through patch testing and turns out I'm very allergic to limonene (which means I can't use any fragrance anymore). But if you're not, it's a really nice line.
Have you ever done a review on the add ons? I would love to hear which products or brands you think are worth the additional money - especially higher end skincare products.

I thought I knew exactly what I was going to pick but after watching this video I may need to rethink a few things! I usually buy a couple extra skincare items because they are way cheaper than what you can get the exact same products at Sephora.

I love FFF. For me the main value is in trying things I wouldn’t risk the money on. An easy example is the Hourglass lipstick from the Winter box. I would not have spent $39 to try it, or probably not even half that in a sale since there are other products I know I like, but now I will definitely buy it again. (Ordered another in Spring add-ons.) I also found my current favorite moisturizer (Farmacy’s Honey Halo) through FFF. I always end up with one or two things I will not personally use but they become birthday, Christmas, or thank-you gifts.
I use gel moisturizers for daytime. I have dry skin, so I can totally use creams during the day, but my favorite day moisturizer is the Glow Recipe Plum moisturizer because it makes the skin Dewy and plump👍👍 I also really like the BYOMA Gel and cream moisturizers

I use the Ahava body wash and I have sensitive skin and it does a phenomenal job and smells amazing too.
Amika hair products are my HG. Bonus they all smell like "Lucky You" my perfume from 13-25yo. I'm 47 & Love this is actually a calming scent 4me now. Their leave-in detangler is the Best . My hair Loves Amika, my color holds 4ever & the shine is Amazing
I’m excited for this box! I recently upgraded to be an annual member to get more value at a lower price. I like picking the options apart and determining a value that the box is to me or what I’d be willing to spend on that type of product… not their retail value. I typically spend $20 on sunglasses, so selecting sunglasses in the box is a $20 value to me. I use drugstore shampoo and conditioner, so a set of that is around $15 value to me.
Ty for this video. This is the 1st time I have seriously considered either skipping a season or even quitting... I mean, I also get BoxyCharm and Ipsy so I get a LOT of skincare and makeup items there... and, with the sole exception of the Winter box, I have been steadily disliking my FFF box items and feeling like the choices forced me into picking them... I mean, the skincare stuff is always stuff I use - as I am a skincare junkie.... BUT it's cheaper to get it in the Boxy Charm Drop shop/Ipsy Add-ons than through FFF - especially as a Canadian. I find makeup/skincare items in FFF to be more expensive, overall than they otherwise would be from Ipsy or Boxy...
And the non-skincare items have been either "meh" or outright sucked, imho... it's just not items I would personally buy for my house.
For example, stuff in this box, like the carafe, the glasses, sunglasses, etc are not things I personally want or need... and I don't have an iWatch and use prescription sunglasses, wouldn't get much use out of a cooler backpack, etc etc etc.
I have made a list of the items I WOULD get, IF I end up getting this box, and your way of explaining if it's "good" or not, by deciding if the value of the items pays for the box was super helpful for me!
I think I might get it... and if I do, I would get:
1. The Lumina Eyelift NRG light tool
2. The lounge set - I am also a sucker for pj's and comfy clothes... OR the plates, for camping.
3. ExfoliKate cleanser OR the REN dark circle eye cream (I currently have it and do like it)
4. Either the necklace or the spoon rest... or maybe the Korres (a great company) body cream (I'm kind of stuck here so may end up buying one extra item),
5. The Earth Harbor Azure cream (I love EH and haven't seen this product before!) &
6. The Nu Co SupaThick hair stuff
I am excited about the Azure cream, ExfoliKate cleanser, and the lounge set. I think their value (for me) would be pretty close to paying for the box... and maybe I'll love one or a few of the other items that interest me, so they could make it worth more potentially.
I have never done the skip a box thing and honestly don't love the idea of just getting credit to spend... like I said, I've not been thrilled with FFF for over a year now so have been thinking of canceling it... but I suppose if I did do that option, that money could go towards extra items I choose or something (I never shop the extra sales as they are never worth it to me - the discounts aren't that great imho and I don't really want or need a lot of the items they offer... overall, it's a hard choice lol, but your way of assessing value really did help, so ty for that!
I am an Annual member and really the last box I got was the only one I wasn’t that excited about. It looks like this one will be good 🙏. I’m already excited for a few of the offerings😀 Thanks for helping me make some good choice decisions Jen😀👍

Keep in mind the only way you will have the ability to choose the Necessaire Body Serum is if you sign up as an annual member bc its the 6th customization category & seasonal only chooses the first 4 categories, fff chooses for you on the 5th&6th. Also when using codes like jen's only saves $$ on a seasonal subscription. Just wanted to make sure you knew beforehand! 😊

Okay so my mind is blown because I typically take the Innisfree intensive hydrating green tea serum and mix a few drops of The Ordinary niacinamide or hyaluronic acid INTO it. I'm so excited they created an all in one product like this now. I think this update was much needed. I really wanted more active ingredients from them and the serum combo I used did wonders for my skin.

Love fabfitfun as a member since 2017 I am very excited for this box. Did you mention what size you got in lounge set? I’m very interested in that after seeing on a live person. The face creams and hair pumper are a must. The roundup looks cute too.
I used to be an annual subscriber, I really enjoyed the boxes! They started to do to many “throw back” products and things I just didn’t use? So I stopped. I love watching your reviews as you are so honest. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I subscribe for a year in 2022 using your link. What I learned is that 90% of the items I got, I would never want or buy on my own. The other 10% was slightly used or kept. Not worth it. Make intentional purchases is a great way to save money and be less wasteful.
I have found some brushes to be too long and I just snip the end with a pair of manicure scissors. Works every time!
Oh man I was going to choose the Witch hazel pads but now I'm rethinking them since you mentioned all of those other fragrances. Maybe I'll stick to my usual Thayers and choose something else.
My first time coming across your channel. Thanks for all the great information. I'm a seasonal member and still haven't decided if there's anything I really NEED. But like you said, there's always something you didn't know you needed. I've used the patches before from a different wellness company. But that reminded me to get out my Zen patches that I received in a different subscription box. But they provided 28 patches so you have time to see if you feel any different. I'm not sure 4 patches will be enough. But my opinion. Still love FFF though.
I got the goat milk cleanser from boxy charm a while ago, it was fantastic and felt really nice on my skin. I bought another through boxy...and it came chunky. Small chunky balls all through it. I chalked it up to being old.

I have used the Amica nighttime dream hydration. I learned about it on a UA-cam channel for mature skin, because I am definitely mature and 52-year-old woman and I also use the spray leave in conditioner, and I really wanna try this type of shampoo and conditioner that comes with the line the Hydro rush line I really wanna try that great conditioner it’s awesome you can my hair is blonde and highlighted and very brittle and I can put this in at night and I do feel a difference the next morning when I go to style my hair it is an awesome awesome product.❤❤❤❤🎉 You can leave it in. You can definitely leave it in as long as you want to your neck shampoo.
I have been getting FFF for a number of years. I love this box most of the time. But it does aggravate me that they do a lot of substitutions without letting the customer know. I know that most subscription boxes run out of product, so substitutions happen. It would just be nice if they sent an email saying sorry we didn't have enough but this is what you'll be getting instead. I mark my calendar so that I don't miss choice day, so when my box comes and 80% of it is totally different from what I chose or like this season there were 3 items out of 7 that you showed that I had a chance to choose. That's a huge difference.
I have always watched your FFF videos and Stephanie Marie's. You both break down whether the box is worth it for YOU. Not whether the products are worth the cost. They always will be a good value but not if you won't actually use them. That was what happened to me with FFF. I got too many things I just wasn't going to use. I like that they are offering more customizations now than the did when I was subscribed.
