So with the most recent balance patch, seems like they adjusted the values of Icy alchemist, Bursting Venoms, and the other lucky hit one (forgot what it's called) will be doing an update and it'll probably use barber, even tho I don't really like barber it's just too strong...

So I modified the build using Frost burn gloves that freeze with the Boots and Mothers ring and the build is crazy everything freezes and then explosions every where the combo worked better than I imagine.
My oh my, the build I was waiting for! I cleared some T90's yesterday with your Icy shadow V2, highest being t95, but yeah I was holding my breath a lot regarding survivability. Feels like I can aim for t100 with this one, thanks a lot!

This is similar to what I was theory crafting, but I was hoping to use Aspect of Quickening Fog to get a smoke grenade with dash without the skill slot for smoke grenade and Dark Shroud for more tankiness. Quickening Fog is also getting a buff with the coming patch
Hmmm that's a good idea, would need to test if the smoke grenades dropped by that aspect count as "using a grenade skill" and if it applies the 20%x dmg increase

Only problem with that is we lose our unstoppable, and poison trap doesn't really give us any benefit other than the 30% imbuement reset and knockdown, would be better to swap it for death trap imo if you're gonna swap it
Poison by far for bosses and lilith, I haven't finished the poison build for dungeons so can't say for sure which clears faster, but if I were to guess I'd say icy shadow up till about 70s and then poison might beat it, still gotta do some testing to give you guys the best poison build I can!

DeShanzo, did you try Aspect of Stolen Vigor? that's what made my poison build practically immortal, it heals a lot of life, it even looks like the old rogue before 1.0.0
Yeah I tried it but for me it didn't feel very good, felt like when I dived packs that I would get insta killed before i could freeze a lot more often in high 90s, in lower tiers its amazing. It might be better with poison because you get the passive that reduces enemies damage output by 15% so you're getting some more defense there. But I might have to go back and give it another shot in the future.
Lower tiers vigor does feel better, in 90s the extra 25% damage reduction from cheats felt better to dive packs and get out, and yeah I'm not a fan of the barber heart tbh, everyone's using it because BiG nUmBeR but it has so many downsides to it, for rogue at least. (But I do need to mess with it and try to make some builds around it and see where it's BIS)
@@dashanzo Did you try the heart with the grenades instead of the crit damage heart? With the 6 grenades you have more frozen monsters i think, so more damage.
Umm I don't think it would do that well in pvp, other classes have too many unstoppables, poison would be better and I'll probably make a poison pvp build when I have the dungeon one done!
With twisting blades it still procs pretty often, and we still get some lucky hit chance from the skill tree, at base it's roughly a 25% chance for it to activate assuming we're always critting, not as broken as it used to be but it still helps.
Check out my leveling build for it that evolves into this, if you dont have any of the uniques I'd recommend using that setup until you have at least Penitent Greaves

I haven't personally tested it, but judging by what I've read from others it should work with the 20 percent and frostbitten.

Shadow step is the only CC break and dark shroud is kinda needed for the DR, but you can swap Dash out for smoke grenade or a utility skill 100%

Yeah barber is really strong and probably the best Wrathful heart at the moment.

I have everything the build needs. Even affixes but I do more damage with barber than apothecary. Does it mess the build up if I use barber?
So because icy alchemist requires you to "damage" using barber doesn't allow it to proc so it breaks the build.

For crossbow if you get vuln/critdmg/core/dex where do you get the extra stats to complete the secondary bonus on rare nodes?
So you can go for all stat, but the boards I'm using I only really want the bonuses of the first 4 boards, all stat isn't a bad choice tho

After the patch, the Icy Alchemist aspect is triggered less frequently. feels that way.

Yes, at least copy the paragon board and swap explosive verve for might. Can keep frostbitten on the helmet and expectant on amulet.
