When Laney says it's the best bed he's EVER slept on, it's time to listen.

- Solar Bedchairs are universally regarded as the ‘best in class’. Six years since there unveiling of their revolutionary SP-C-Tech Bedchairs and Sleep Systems, changed the bedchair market forever, we’ve done what seemed to be impossible and improved the range.
We have here the SP C-TECH MEMORY FOAM BEDCHAIR MKII, our top-of-the-range Bedchair (available in Standard and Wide variants). As you probably know, if it bears the SP-C-Tech Badge, you’re buying the very best; with no corners cut in development, performance or materials.
First lets look at the frame.
• Layflat lumbar support, with the mattress built into the frame
We dog legged the Bedchair market with our original Layflat lumbar support. We built the mattress into the frame to eliminate sagging. And our Bedchairs feature our innovation on 4 load bearing sides, whereas many others bedchairs only utilise this on two.
• Full, high-tensile aluminium frame
Not satisfied with our incredibly strong bedchair frames, we've strengthened the chassis by adopting oversized, reinforced tubular frame together with stronger OVAL tube legs, for even more strength. This uprates the existing 210kg weight rating to an incredible 225kg! You may have seen our 26 stone friend Wilky trampolining on one of the original C-Techs? That goes some way to illustrating the incredible impact strength of Solar Bedchairs, not just weight tolerance. Like all Solar gear, they really are built to take ANYTHING.
• Spring-Loc leg System
Plus, of course, the legs feature the Spring-Loc, one touch mechanism, another Solar first. Simply push the lever and the spring loaded leg shoots out to the height you want. Ever tried adjusting a ‘traditional’ leg, the ones at the back of the bivvy? Exactly!
• Flat-Pac hinge System
And the badge. If you’re going to buy a Rolls Royce, you want the badge. And in Solar stainless, of course. The Solar Marque highlights Solar's Flat-Pac Hinge System. This basically means that the bed folds flat, no matter what you’re folding inside!
And on to the soft furnishings....
• Memory 6 Mattress
Whereas other brands give you 5cm deep memory foam, we’ve used a 6cm slab of top-quality memory foam to give far greater comfort. Why? It’s far more comfortable! The ‘joy of 6’, as we call it. And rest-assured, the Memory is upholstered in a warm, yet ventilating, soft touch fleece.
• SolaCam Digital Camo
Plus, the mattress is emblazoned by SolarCam. Let’s face it, camo’s a statement, and SolarCam says ‘flecktarn meets techno.’ The pattern looks stunning, covert and perfect for purpose.
• Pac-Away compression straps and carry handle
Plus, the System is fitted with handy Pac-Away compression straps, so you just have to ‘give your chair the knee’ to fully compress it for packaging, and hand rings so you can pull the straps tight. The packed bed also features a handy carry handle, so the bedchair is easy to lug. Is there a spirit level on the frame? No, we don't make toys.
• Dimensions : Length: 208cm, Width: 90cm, Height: 40-52cm.
• Weight 14.9kg
You've been waiting 6 years for these new Solar bedchairs, what do you think we've been doing... Sleeping?

Just got mine and must say it's good
I preferred the ad where he wore the red nail polish.
Raising the bar once again. Well done Solar!
He's hardly going endorse any other brand if he's sponsored by Solar. 😂
Sad but what a piece of kit.
A quand un nouveau jumbo SP 747?
Ive got the previous Solar sp c-tek bedchair & id say solars built in fabric/frame design is absolutely quality, it is a very well designed bedchair from the frame/fabric support, the stainless hinges to the spring loaded feet however, well designed is where it ends for me.
The fabric on top feels cheap, the reinforced fabric patches above where the hinges are could isn’t good enough, the feet are tiny, badly designed and a very tacky plastic that puts wholes in your groundsheet when on hard ground (instead of wasting money having Solar written into the bottom of the feet they should have spent that money on larger, more robust feet) & the clips they used to pull the bedchair straps together are the worst ive ever seen, totally insufficient. however the ones used on this bed look like they’re possibly a better clip.
Ive got an old trakker lumbar support bed & the clips used for the straps are 10 times more robust, as is the design & plastic used for the feet.
Great design by Solar but penny pinching on inadequate parts, put them bits right & it’s the best out there.
Drop me out, he’ll say that cause he was on his arse without solar
Great
14.9kg 🤣🤣🤣
Is it made of lead? 😂
It's quality what do you want lol most carp angers have a barrow now anyway so just take less gear if the weight is an issue
@ 😀
My point is that it is lazy design. There are materials out there that can make it much lighter. Also, no one is making a lightweight bedchair? Massive gap in the market. You also can’t use a barrow everywhere.
@@ApexCypher_ tell me how to make it lighter by using better materials that doesn't increase the cost, there are loads of lightweight bed chairs on the market mate, loads of lightweight sleeping bags 2 like the snug pack.
@ Firstly the cost price of this item is about 20% of the retail price. Therefore using lighter weight materials wouldn’t drastically increase cost price. What we’re witnessing is using cheaper heavier materials to make the cost price lower to increase profit margins. JRC were making 7kg bedchairs over 20 years ago.
All other sports have moved to light weight equipment but carp fishing is going the opposite way.
Look at ultralight backpacking gear. Significantly cheaper than carp fishing gear but using state of the art materials.
@ Which bedchairs are lightweight?
at 7.11 look at the wear ,and its new
@@troywales983 that's from use and it scraping on the floor because its been thrown about when packed away, mine is the same i had the previous one and I threw that about for 2 years it doesn't get much worse, go and look at one in a shop you will be surprised at the quality of it
Boring, quick the gullible noddies get 1,get 1 now 🙈😝
@@Apocalyptic656 I have one been carp for 40 years had every bed chair going, so does it make me a noddy haha, maybe your a troll am sure we will soon find out when you read this, it's actually extremely well made and exteamly comfortable.
