Good day and thank you for sharing your videos. Very well put together . Professionally done. I am enjoying your videos very much and really enjoy you camaraderie with the fellow members. Like to add that the mention of your kit.. clothing, dogs, traveling crates etc., Are informative . Keep up the great shows. Respectfully Robert MacDonald Canada 🇨🇦
JP . The first two drives presented you with birds that your not used to shooting at. The higher birds allow you to judge speed which makes your gun move quicker. The first two drives are what I would call pointy shots. Very difficult to judge the speed and distance. Its very easy to shoot straight a what seems to be a static target. The gun must still move up through the target to achieve kills. Your shot cam footage showed lack of gun movement. What seems like an easy bird can actually be more difficult than the higher ones. Great video. Tells it as it is.👍🏻
Sir , I was wondering if you had considered using a different type of chair? Just saw advertisement for a company Naidex in England . There are also the tracked electric chairs that I have seen being used with disabled hunters here in the US. Keep pushing!
Hi Jim No never considered it to be honest, the chair I have is a lightweight one that I simply change the wheels over on so I have a little more traction, but other than that its pretty standard. Yes I have seen the electric chairs which are fantastic for individuals with little movement or strength, however I am fortunate to have both so while I can its also good exercise! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the reply. There were two things on my mind when I sent the post. First thing was the birds that were to your left with the positioning of the chair it limited your ability to address the bird properly. To correct that the powered chair would allow YOU to adjust your left right angles very quickly with the added benefit that the chair will lock in place. Secondly their are many others that would benefit thru encouraging them to expand their thoughts and actions for a more fulfilled life by expanding what they think is possible in the outdoors. I would encourage you to reach out to some of these companies. It never hurts to have good sponsors and they need good ambassadors. Btw your skill seated is impressive. Blessings on you and your family.
Well that looked like a lot of fun , some good shooting on the third drive ( must have been the champagne 😄) . Will these birds be out of reach when steel shot comes in , I’ve had to open mine to two half chokes and cartridge size for me at best is 28 gram fours, yes I should get a 12 bore you’ll tell me . Most enjoyable video, look forward to the next one, take care and stay safe Dave.
Hi Dave thanks for watching, we could have made it 1.5hrs long with all the footage a day to remember and some! I think there is still some work to do on steel especially for the high shoots as some will be out of range otherwise. fingers crossed the product is improving continually. Try the steel range from ELEY. Stay safe
Love this guys enthusiastic attitude 👍
