We were in PM 10 years ago when it was still a quiet, inexpensive and relaxing town and enjoyed it. Now it is only a memory because what we feared then, happened. It’s gone the same way as Playa del Carmen……., such a pity!
In Mexico we tend to use credit cards for most purchases, but we will bring small amounts of cash for things like taxis, tips and souvenirs. Pesos in small denominations are best, but many vendors will take USD.
Yes, US dollars. Puerto Morelos food is pricey, mainly because they have so many expats living there that the restaurants are catering to them. We didn't find any real street food in PM.

That's the way it will go for all of Mexico's sleepy little beach towns.
Great video. Looking forward to being there next month. I missed the name of the 1st cenote with the cave. Can you tell me what it was. 😊
Cenote Siete Bocas. This one is my favorite, you might want to wear water shoes, the paths are a bit rough. Have fun!
Great video. I had a question do you take cash or use credit cards? Thanks

Great tips and video
Thank you!
Great vid!
Thank you!
Are there beach volleyball courts? I didn't see any, just curious. Planning a trio in July 😊 thanks for this!
I didn't see any volleyball courts. Have a great trip, this is such a special place!
There are none.. been there a bunch of times.. maybe a hotel, for sure in Cancun
I feel funny asking you this question however all the prices you mentioned are they in pesos over in US dollars
US dollars! Mexico is very inexpensive.
Any reviews on the ado bus there?
Do you mean the shuttle we took from Cancun or something else?
what camera did you use for in the water?
We used a GoPro Silver. The sound quality is poor, but the video is good.
Are those US dollar prices? That seems really steep for tacos, even by US standards

Muy lindo pero tienen que superar los indicadores de criminalidad e inseguridad. Sin eso nadie debe viajar a ese Paraíso
True, we didn't discuss safety and the surroundings. The tourist areas feel very "resorty" and safe.
