I absolutely love Devil Rock, Saturday Cartoons and the Blue Bed polishes they are absolutely my jam. I do think you can see the difference even when you were swatching because of either jelly factor or shimmer particle size. This is one of my favorite makers for exactly the reason you said, she does bold colors, I’m not really a pastel person. I want people to notice my nails. ❤

this may be a silly question, but you mention in many of your videos that you suggest to avoid "overbuild-up". can you explain what that means; what that looks like? Thanks so much! I appreciate your videos and look forward to very one of them!
@@DanielleCline-fx1ee When I first started getting into indies I always would just... Paint. I painted every coat for every polish the same, heavy handed and liberal with each coat. Sometimes when a formula had a thicker/bouncier consistency, by the time I came back to my pinky nail it would drag the coat underneath because it hadn't set yet. So to me, if you aren't adjusting how you paint based on formula you can have that happen and it makes a messy "pulled sheet" look if that makes sense. A good application (and formula!) is one where you can start at your pinky on one hand, then by the time you get through all other fingers and return to that first pinky, your polish should be set enough so it's ready for the next coat. I'm very wordy I apologize 😅 I hope that makes sense!
