I would like you guys to know that Sayami Used to play cricket before working as an actor. She is the best casting for the role. Good To See Two Father-Son Duos in the movie, Amitabh And Abhishek Bachchan, and Bishan Singh And Angad Bedi. I watched the movie after Indian Men's Cricket Team Defeat In Men's Cricket World Cup Final Yesterday. I have been following Cricket regularly from last 10 years and watch almost every match of Indian Women's And Men's Cricket Teams. Yesterday's loss made me feel very self doubting that should I follow Indian Cricket Teams with that passion or just watch matches just for entertainment. I am very passionate for Sports, Cricket in general. Wanted to play but i can't. So i support Indian teams, and whenever they achieve something I feel like I have achieved something. But yesterday's loss made me very sad. But watching this movie today made me hopefull for future and i hope Indian sports teams do well in future.
I saw it few days back and was really impressed by film and acting.. but sadly it didn't create much hype among audience n critics if this would have done by deepika or alia or any overrated star kid then all the best actress n other awards would have been given to it.. 😢

This is not based on true story.. as in real game of cricket this is impossible.. she wont be allowed to play with one hand no matter how good she is.. she can however take part in special olympics..

Found this okay. But I would still say the best cricket movie from India is in my opinion is Iqbal directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. It didn't have big names or big production budget but nonetheless a rare gem

This was a great movie but then again people ignored it
This movie is a good watch but has too many impossible factors and basically based on convenient plot points. It is screams of being a fiction and focus more on hype/emotion instead of using proper technicalities. If don't care about giant plot holes or huge convenient twists, u will enjoy it
Achara is usually sweet and cute until the hyper feminist shows up. This movie was never about patriarchy or anything like that. Start coming out of the mindset already and enjoy movies without going into wokeism/agenda. Sometimes stories can just be just stories, not political statement.

Andrew and Michael should have reacted to this. Achara with her screechy feminism pokes a pin into the balloon of hope that this movie is. First with the grandmother where she assumed that she didn’t get to play because of patriarchy and then her reaction to paddy snapping her out of the pity party with tough love. Paddy did hit her accidentally drunk or not , but she refused to use the indicator as well and stuck her hand out. The movie isn’t about blame it’s about rising above it . Not just making amends with Empty words and lighting up monuments with pointless candle marches but with actual tangible action. A determination to not only fix something but to fix it like a surgeon that cures instead of simply treating the symptoms . Had anina gone into clinical depression it would be medication for life with no way of forgetting the what if. Like most drunk drivers he didn’t just hit and run. He came back. I’m sure achara would not have a problem with a tough love giving coach if the player / actor was white and male . I don’t know her personally nor does their fan club but these niggling hyper feminist moments just ruins the reaction for many, I’m just the one who chooses to leave a comment . Like arrogant pricks they can talk about their million subs but the people make the subs . As it is , since meeting aamir they’ve chosen to selectively review trailers and movies .
