The Game looks most of the time like shit and also my pc has much problems to run it if i want to have a video on my second screen cause it has no window mode. Always i try to get it on my pc my defender says VIRUS and blocks it. Can you help me there?

Whichever one starts the game. If the CD installed an EXE onto your system, use that one. If it still doesn't work try playing around with some settings -- unfortunately that's the limit of how much I can help haha.
I'm trying to play Planet of the Apes, but I'm not able to get it to work. When I copy over the MS files from dgvoodoo, it works in dxwnd, but the cutscenes don't work. Do you know how to fix this? Thanks!
Just the cutscenes not working is a weird one. My only guess is that the cutscene files themselves are in some weird format that the shell can't run, but I really don't know if that would be it. See if you can find the cutscenes in the files, and note the file extension.
Can't find anything conclusive on it. Apparently changing cutscene resolution settings might work, as well as something called GDI mode. Beyond that you'll probably have to do your own research, sozza.

If you bought the game on Steam, any compatibility problems should have been fixed by the developer before they released an updated port. Failing that, if you've already tried the method shown in the video, try running the game in compatibility mode, and if that doesn't work, try modifying some settings in DxWnd. I would however take this case to the Steam community, and see if there are any fixes - some Steam ports are dodgy, and they might have a solution.
i've been running into a problem. i'm trying to emulate the game small soldiers globotech design lab and it would get stuck on the tittle screen and basically stop playing music and get frozen to the point i would have to log out of my computer and log back into so it would close. if you have any solutions on how to make it stop doing that would be a big help thanks

Not sure why? update: I figured it out but when I click off the game the whole game pauses until I click back on

In theory just do it the same as you would with the standard EXEs. You might need to disable the autorun though.

It sounds like you're not opening the program correctly. Open the exe.
Would it run theme park world? I know I managed to butcher that to run, but with a few patches.
I can't say for individual games - it would depend on the problem. Theoretically yes, but it's not guaranteed.

DxWnd would probably help then. If the game runs at all there's a higher chance of the problems being fixed. No harm in giving it a shot!
The only executable I can select is Autorun which leads to the install.. but I can't install it obviously or I wouldn't be here. The hell should I do?

Hi. I’ve followed all the steps to run Hooligans SOE and it doesn’t run. Double clicking, pressing enter, nothing has worked :(
