WOW!!! Your longest video regarding the Etihad stadium 😮 I love it when you show images and explain how it's supposed to be. Very interesting 💙💙💙
That is where I have to thank the viewers / subscribers, I get sent a lot of info / pictures which makes my job a lot easier. 😀
Keep showing those kind pictures it gives us good idea what's going on instead of just watching the skeleton that only experienced Construction people understands 🤔.
Thanks for the update! The central section of the extension is looking substantial and there is a radius to it to match the profile of the original stand. Things are moving forward. F. A. B.
Looks like where the yellow platforms are they have done the corporate boxes as I’ve just looked at one of your old videos and they weren’t there
at 6.53 you can actually see where the cables have been removed from the back of the stadium....Just the Ground connections left.
Excellent. Thanks for this content.
Great video....so much going on
Thanks so much for the update, we appreciate you ❤
No problem 😊
the screens look like they will be very close to the Tram Entrance/Exit...
its looking good nice job with the drone thank you
Thanks 👍
Fascinating to see how they engineered the transfer of the cables supporting the roof perimeter cable. It looks like these will remain beneath the new roof structure?
Yes they will, just like they do on the south stand
He’s using an angle grinder, prepping an area for welding.
I thought that was the case, just couldn’t really tell on the small screen
I do wonder with the whole design of the Expansion Why they didnt Build the Hotel away from the North stand?....
Nice
Thanks
Now that the cables at the rear have been removed could anyone explain how the forces are now transferred into the ground. I assume the original struts are being retained and the tensile forces carried by the removed cables are now carried by the steel frame in compression? Maybe the guy who sends in the drawings can help?
The original struts are being removed completely. A new clamp was put on the cables which in turn was joined to the new structure so the original strut can be removed
there seems to be cables/wires/ropes hanging from the roof trusses inside the old area of the stand. they seem to have some sort of ratchet attachment on them at the highest level just under the trusses. interesting.
Do the pillars around the stadium actually serve a purpose, or is it for show?

Why? They don't fill it now!!
That was my first thought.
2023-24 average PL attendance was 53,192 in a stadium that holds ~53,500.
100 Points hurt didn't it?
A domestic Quad hurt even more?
Then the European treble made you depressed?
4 in a row was the icing on the cake though wasn't it. Be careful with your mental health!
Remember, we've matched your records, not in your lifetime, will you match ours.....
Thanks for the update 👍
Ignorance is bliss pal haha!!!...the stadium was sold out for every home game last season. And you will be so sad to hear that the City worldwide fan base is getting absolutely huge. Try not to cry too much!!!
