I am a Jags and Gators fan. He burned us a couple times in that LSU game. It is awesome that he is a Jag. He is going to be so good with Lawrence throwing to him. I can't wait for the NFL season to start. The Jags are going to be damn good.
BT played ball his whole life. just not his frosh year in HS, due to his dad thinking he needed to bulk up some before playing Varsity. All good though, great breakdown. Go Jags! absolutely love BTJ hes ganna be special
Hey Scott, just some clarification on BTJ He actually has been playing football his entire life, he sat out his freshman year to try to put on some weight first The article which you are referencing was misleading for a lot of people but Brian clarified this as well in his post draft interview
Im not saying he's Randy Moss, but he has Randy Moss like play and talent. BTJ will burn defenses to death, and he has the height and willingness to attack the ball in the air.
Yeah I know I wasn’t the only one think this when I watching his film, I don’t want to say it cause of Moss Greatness and being one of my favorite WR of all time ( Behind Calvin Johnson Of course) but BTJ players with a same style and effort when running routes deep like he not trying and has that next gear that few have at his size. It’s insane
LSU’s 2021 receiver class was absolutely stacked. Chris Hilton is still on the team and he should have a big year. Deion smith had to leave LSU because of grades I think turned into the #1 juco player now he’s at Ole miss
@Scott, GREAT PRESENTATION!! Very well done. Not to be critical, but you did miss a golden opportunity by not comparing Brian's skill set to Trevor's skill set.
BTJ, Worthy, Nabers all have best case scenarios for a first round WR in their first year. One of them can certainly finish top 12 overall at position. And all can finish top 30 at position given opportunity+talent.
I think BTJ will have 800+ yards his rookie seasn. The Jags' offense is stacked this season with T Law obviously and then we have ETN, Engram, Gabe Davis, Christian Kirk, and our newly reinforced offensive line... I think the Jags will make another playoff run. Not to mention our defense...
Haha sure he's more of a special teams player who made a few clutch plays on offense last season. I do think he could make a valuable KR/PR this upcoming season, to replace Agnew, but he's no more than a 4th string receiver.
He is not going to start over Kirk, Davis, or BTJ. Rwmember, he was only a sixth round pick of last years draft. Also, he had plenty of time to prove himself towards the end of the season when the injuries started to happen to starting players. He did make some clutch TD receptions in that span of time but he wasn't consistent enough. Again, I think he could make a valuable special teams p!ayer.
Who should I cover next?
You should cover Karim Lassiter, the guy that's gonna shut MTJ down.
Legette, McConkey, Wilson, and Adonai - PLEASE
Jaylin Simpson or Marcus Harris
Malik nabers

As an lsu fan.. yall got a straight dog 🍿🍿
As a fsu fan he had some big gains on us as well so ditto
@@jeffro22ful Yeah I hope he pans out because he was really good at LSU.
@@johnjefferson5933 hopefully it translates to the next level.
if he burned your gators how could you want him to be a jag? Shouldn't you hate him for life or are you just a bandwagon????? gtfoh
This has aged like a fine wine.
He’s gonna be the best wr that’ll come out of the 2024 draft
BT played ball his whole life. just not his frosh year in HS, due to his dad thinking he needed to bulk up some before playing Varsity. All good though, great breakdown. Go Jags! absolutely love BTJ hes ganna be special
I agree. He could be the next superstar WR, he’s very smooth and tracks the ball extremely well for his size.
I went to high school with him he played football his whole life the only season he didn’t was our freshman year of high school
Do you still stay in touch with him
@@KeshaJackson-zn8mwyup they are best friends 😂

Very good in depth video. No short cuts. Love getting the full story!

Nice video 🔥🔥🔥🔥

He quite literally has the same build as Randy Moss.
Naw I think he’s a bit bulkier than Randy Moss. Moss was skinny as hell in highschool college and his early years in the NFL.
Yes you are right!
you beat me to it
Got him in the 9th starting him @ flex allday. Thanks this video only confirmed the rumors about this champ!!
@Scott, GREAT PRESENTATION!! Very well done. Not to be critical, but you did miss a golden opportunity by not comparing Brian's skill set to Trevor's skill set.
You just got Mossed! Brian Thomas Jr reminds me of Randy Moss
Duuuuuuuval. Love the video 😊
5 minutes in an not a single sentence yet has even partially explained why he could literally break the nfl
As a Jaguar fan, I just hope he breaks the curse of Jaguars first round receivers. It has been rough on that front for a long long time

I think he could lead receivers in touchdowns within the next 3 seasons
Was the issue with Les miles or Ed orgeron

You forgot Parker Washington WR

@Christian-g9p he is considered a starting receiver in my eyes just under vauled and need more playing time

And don’t forget the jaguars have a new defensive coordinator
Major pause on the thumbnail
14 team Superflex ppr dynasty
I have Odunze ( and TLaw ) should I reach out and trade Odunze for B Thomas ?
I would 100%
Man he been getting locked down in camp 🔥
hindsight: he did in fact break the league
As soon as the Jaguars drafted him I said “the Jaguars have drafted Brian Thomas Jr”
Everyone agreed.
brave man
Lmao
I hope you're right
Duuuval
Feels like a lot of filler recounting year by year stats, and not a lot about why he’d “break the nfl”
He was also playing with nabers so he never been the 1
I actually would probably take him over Nabers
Hate the Jags but Ive been saying it for two years he will have the best career in this draft for a receiver
Meh
Way too many couldas, mights, and hope sos.
Sorry he's with the Jags a subpar destination for anyone with potential.
clown
Better than your trash ass destination team for sure
He’s awesome he took the 7. It meant you are the best player on the team at LSU.
