Thank you, I just came across this and this is the best review video on UA-cam for this case and helped me pull the trigger.
Thanks for the detailed insight into the Shadow Base 800 fx
Good Video, I really enjoyed watching it, thank you for the review!
Glad you liked it!
I just built mine today in this case in my limited free time, I could not figure out where the cable that runs the to the front panel is supposed to plug in on my MOBO
I was really expecting the 10 tiny connected single/double pin connectors but I didn't see anything like that. What am I missing? I see the 4 pin cable labeled F-PANEL but don't understand where it's supposed to go
Hi,
Thanks for the review! I've looked at the riser cable for verticale gpu mounting, but I can't find any information about how to attatch the bracket to the bottom of the case. There are also no screwholes in the psu shroud, so do you need to make it by yourself, or is it magnetic?
Best regards!
can u put in the Corsair RM850x Shift powersupply which has the adapters on the site ?
hey i just bought 800fx and mounterd 3x light wings 140 2200rpm (high-speed ones) on top like you, and my whole case started vibrating/resonating while the fans that were pre-installed in case are quiet totally and not vibrating. i returned my light wings and got a new 1500rpm ones which started vibrating just the same as high speed ones.... have you maybe encountered the same problem ? i see you only used 2 screws for each fan on top
Good review, man. Nice case for those who may need really long GPU or a lot of watercooling or ATX board. I prefer the 500DX for my own needs but this one has some nice extra features.
Glad you liked the video! 500DX is a very nice case. I have two. :D
@@ECPUz Nice. By the way I meant EATX in my comment, not ATX.
Haha yep I figured you meant EATX.
@@ECPUzfor ryzen 7800x3d with dark rock Elite and a 4080 super (32,8cm length), would you take the 500fx or 800fx
good case, though the front panel on mine shipped with a faulty leds, so it doesn't light up correctly
I love be quiet! cases, but i really dislike the way we need to remove the front panel.
I have a Pure Base 500 DX and it's very difficult for me to remove it.
I really need to pull the front case with a lot a force to actually remove it (always afraid to break it)
A magnetic system would be perfect
nice review ,but GPU vertical mount is very unpleasant for me ,for example i cant mount and use my sound card anymore
have astro a40 tr 2019 version I hate them need a new headset what do you think the best headset would be the nova pro or turtle beach stealth pro or the hd 58x I am on pc for multiplayer player and play a lot of cod and apex I also have a ps5 and a series x but is not as important as I only play single player on the console now for me making sure that the headphones on my pc are amazing would be top priority but getting all systems to work would be nice as well your opinion would mean a lot ty for your time
For the absolute best sound quality, out of the three you're looking at, I'd say the HD58X. The Nova Pro and Stealth Pro sacrifice a little bit of sound quality for the convenience of wireless, plus they have mics which is nice. If I had to pick one of the wireless ones, I'd go with the Nova Pro.
Do you know what size fan the bottom of the case requires? 120mm or 140?
There's mounts for 120 and 140 down there.
Hello ! Where is the reset button please ?
With fans installed in top, how much clearance there is between them and motherboard? Only for a slim radiator - 30 mm or you can put something thicker, like 44 mm one?
I have a Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 version in the top of the case, so far its good.
But 420 could be a problem on top, but no problem in the front.
@@shagal2142Good review. What would the problem be for the liquid freezer ii 420? Would it interfere with the front fans?
@@user-yq5od9uj3f IIn the front you can mount a 420, but not sure if you can mount the liquid freezer II since its thicker then most of the radiators.
But the shop where i ordered, they said you can putt a 420 liquid freezer in the front wihout any problems, just noch in the top of the case because the rad is to thick combined with the 140mm.
that intel gpu is so gorgeous
I totally agree. It's one of the nicest looking GPUs on the market.
Is it possible to build in this case for an inverted build?
No. BeQuite Dark base 701 can do inverted builds.
The manual on page 33 shows the possibility of ARGB synchronization. Have you been able to connect that cable? How did you do it? I mean, to which of the ARGB free connectors did you connect? Do you need to connect just one cable and all fans ARGB will sync? Thank you in advance. Your video is awesome!
Never mind, I found the answer.
@@jgmac58What is the answer?
Good day.
Please, what is the actual width of the PC case? The manufacturer says 247 mm, is it really like that? Or could you please measure the PC case?
Thank you very much.
Yes, it is 247mm wide.
Does this panel interfere with the airflow from the front fans? OK, you can take it off, but then it looks stupid with that huge hole.
No it dosen't effect airflow. Nzxt does the same thing, no difference.
i really think those two hdd cages should come already in the package. Missed opportunity by BeQuiet in my opinon.
Would be nice to see for sure.
Does anyone have a clue if you can get a 360 push/pull setup on top?
yep, its works with this
支持33CM*30CM的主板吗?
where can you bye ekstra fan do they have a name maby this be quiet! LIGHT WINGS 140mm PWM
I much prefer the non- RGB version.
The 800 DX doesn't come with a fan hub but the FX does? Kind of nonsensical.
DX is basic model, imao
@@user-wu4cw5ed5w Who cares. It's industry standard at this point. Just a cheap case sold at a premium price.
@@Sercer25Yeah it's such an established standard that plenty of more expensive and beloved cases come without a hub and even fans at a similar price. 😂 A 3 pack of the 140 light wings costs around 60 Euro alone and you are getting 4 with the case + a hub that other companies like nxt sell for another 40 to 60 Euro. If you apply a bit of common sense it's not as expensive anymore
@@kleinkalibar7486 I have it next to me and up for sale. It's a ripoff case. Luckily I got it on sale, and didn't pay full price like people like you would.
You're the kind of guy who paid 2 grand for a 4090. A company's dream. A fool and his money are soon parted.
