- Learn how to do a foot sweep takedown for MMA and learn an amazing set up for the Arm in Guillotine Submission.
Jack Hermansson pulled off an absolutely beautiful combination of grappling moves at UFC on ESPN (Justin Gaethje Vs. Edson Barboza) when he hit a foot sweep into an immediate arm in Guillotine Choke to finish David Branch in just 49 seconds. Here we look at how Jack Hermansson managed to get both the footsweep take down and the arm in Guillotine Choke finish in some detail. First with the takedown we look at how Hermansson used lift and spin in order to unload Branch's base and land the foot sweep. Secondly we look at how Hermansson goes straight after the arm in Guillotine by turning towards Branch and setting up the arms, legs and hips quickly to secure the potential finish very early in the scramble from Side Control.
A great submission set up from Jack Hermansson and a wonderful way to secure the Choke quickly off of back control. This combination wasn't MMA specific so could easily be utilised in BJJ or other grappling arts.

Nive video bro
which grip is used for the guillotine please
Same question I was going to ask.
Ball and Socket grip or Gable Grip or S grip all work pretty good. Pretty much what ever you use for your Guillotine. Once you sink to the side it gets tight very fast.
Murder choke. Its the nastiest choke there is
