I remember sitting in my room in the middle of the night when I discovered your channel just over 15 years ago. I was an empty shell feeling the effects of constant bullying at school and online. I had undiagnosed autism and adhd making daily tasks all the more impossible on top of the +100 anxiety and depression stat I gained from cruel kids. Your videos brought me comfort and allowed me to find my creative space through the world of content creation. It all started with a little gummy bear and blossomed into such an incredible community. I just wanted to say thank you for teaching me self love and how it's not a linear journey. Thank you for helping me in my really tough days. Thank you for showing me that life is full of ups and downs but we can always come out on top if we set our mind to it. And most importantly, thank you for creating a space where I've made some forever friends. I am so proud of you and how far you have come. i'm tryna teach myself to enjoy the love i have for things too without the fear of losing it or of it hurting me at all. one of the ways i'm doing that is by doing xmas alone this year, but i think i'll be very glad to have your vlogs as company!! i can't wait to grab the issues of Radiant Pink!! it looks absolutely stunning!! i love a good sci-fi fantasy story, and it's so much more easy to relish in when you know it's come from a genuine place!!

I like your content and everything. It's just really weird and uncomfortable to use the term "queer" to get attention for your comic. Good characters and art sell comics. Having POC and queer characters is great. But making a point to focus on that just feels wrong and devalues your work. Almost makes it seem like it's not made for everyone. Like its exclusive by design. It's also really weird for a white person to point out that they write POC characters. It feels kinda like "I'm not racist! You have to believe me!" That is just how it came off to me and my friends. Not try to say that it is what you intended. We're the kind of people you're writing about, and it doesn't feel right to us. So, there might be others that take it the same way.

I write queer comics because I’m queer. I use poc characters because I’m Mexican. Comics are for everyone.
