I never figured out the fourth letter nor talking about their right order on the blackboard. But very smart game design! Dinner was always beating up other students, I hated the danger of mumps and 2000 lines if smart-ass-Einstein got away. And sometimes Boy Wonder had a pea-shooter with your name. You knew it was game over or big lines when Mr. Wacker was speeding up towards you :). Sometimes my little brother wanted to put his own names to all characters before I started playing and those names always gave me big laughs :D
One clue with regards to the order of the four letters is that Mr Wacker’s letter always comes first. As for the other three - you’ll just have to figure that out by trial and error.
My Big brother had a Sinclair (spectrum clone) and this was his favorite Game along with silent service... This Game along with a few others are the reason why i'm more of a PC gamer than console
Can you give an explanation? I can shoot all shields (or whatever), but I do not understand why and what you wrote on the blackboard and how it activated a ring in the office to be able to shoot the shields again. Thanks!
There must be a cheat applied to this (the description says that this longplay is tool-assisted); the fact that Eric fired a catapult at 2:48 and did not get a telling-off for using it despite Mr Rockitt clearly facing him and being right in front of him. Without the cheat Mr Rockitt would have given Eric lines and told him that “CATAPULTS ARE FORBIDDEN”.
@@Texy88 I remember teachers had double standards in this game: Apparently, you were allowed to use a catapult with the condition that you were Boy Wonder and you were allowed to jab your fists if you were Angelface but do those things as Eric and it is instantly TONS of lines to you! Some people might argue cheating is just fair in this game.

I do not know whether you are aware, but a few years ago a remaster came out for portable devices (tablets, mobile phones etc) entitled _Skool Daze: Reskooled_ (despite the title it also contains _Back To Skool,_ the sequel that was Spectrum-specific originally, as well as some completely new schools that had never been seen before); in that Boy Wander and Angelface *can* get told off for using catapults and clocking other kids one respectively if a teacher is looking at them when they do so. Those same two can even be told off for not being sat down during a class if they are wandering around, just as would normally happen with Eric.

It's weird that the C64 version also has the graphics glitch of the Spectrum version. The characters change their color according to the background. :P

This is classic game for the time, especially on the the Spectrum.
Yes! And the C64 version was pretty much a copy as I remember. I wished it was better looking on the C64, but on the ZX it was really great!

Nice tas video. I did my own legit longplay of this game and it took little bit under 1 hour and i thought it was fast, but this really is fast.
