    For those who want to know. Rennie got 2nd again in 2017 behind a new Pikes Peak Record time in 1st, 2nd again in 2018 by less than a second, and in 2019, which turned out to be the final year of Motorcycles at Pikes Peak, Rennie that beautiful bastard won it all, 1st place. 🥇

    Rennie you made me smile to see you there doing us Aussies proud & what an effort you put in, & you even had a power slide into the armco barrier & got up & rode & that is what we are made of mate & that is strength & determination.

    Whats the diference in handling between clipons and handlebars? I would never expect an uprigth bike to be this good at road racing (sorry for bad english)

    • @cyclenews
      @cyclenews  8 років тому

      It was a rule bought in last year. The difference is the handlebars are a single piece mounted across the top triple clamp, whereas clip-on handlebars are two-piece units mounted to the top of the forks.

    • @alejandromedina-ix5yx
      @alejandromedina-ix5yx 8 років тому

      but what are the consecuences. pros or cons of that instead of the clipons

    • @MrKdr500
      @MrKdr500 8 років тому +2

      upright bikes are not slower on a race track because of the upright position, most upright bikes in the past were just under powered but now we have super nakeds with decent horsepower.

  • @stevemack389sm
    @stevemack389sm 8 років тому

    damn man if you would have never fucked up and hit that fucking railing between the hay bales but you're lucky because at least hay bales kept the bike from plummeting down the mountain and you able to get right back on but if you Woulda never fucked that up you would actually want to believe because you came in second a fourth overall but you had the fastest time those four seconds or 5 Seconds however long it took for you to get back on to the bike it might even have taken a minute or two but those few seconds could have given you two or three minutes back!... But the bodyguards or something badass I hope you get to keep the bike at least!... Well do you get to keep the bike after the racing and everything is done????
