You had me on the MBT until I heard touch screens. I’ve never used them on a battlefield but I can only imagine what a nightmare it would be if it’s anything like the touch screen in my car
it's military grade stuff. it has been tested intensively in every conditions. units who handled it gave very good feedbacks.
good job
Looks like a practical update and rationalisation. Nothing comes cheap BUT I suspect that the armoured vehicle technicians will have a fairly good relationship with the Scorpion vehicles, once the inevitable early production issues are dealt with.
I actually did some research and apparently the Jaguar's building cost is almost below 1 million dollars just to make the chassis and hull, then of course you gotta add the weaponry and electronic systems, but in the end it's still very very cheap when compared to the 5 million cost for a troops transportation vehicle of the USA.
@@vinny.g5778 the fact that all of the vehicles in the wheeled variants are on the same chassis, be it Jaguars Griffons and Servals, same chassis, easier logistics
@@lebigeon for real, I think france is on the track for a more industrialized warfare rather than a precise and deadly but expansive type of warfare
I want this stuff in bf 2042
The EBRC Jaguar is in Bf2042
@@warham97 The EBRC Jaguar in Battlefield 2042 is bought on Wish;(
Has 2 x ZU-23-2 1960s soviet cannons instead of the original French 40mm CT40.....
Damn... I wonder what the developers smoked😂
@@CriscCiaddu you can equip the 40mm gun on the EBRC in BF2042. But its stills a bad game.
@@warham97 ah ok, thanks, I didn't know that😂👍

perfect for invading gb once and for all
Wtf ahahaha yeah true. But not in our agenda. So .. no, sorry
Already did.
That makes a lot of sense. Nuclear annihilation of the World if that were to happen.
@@tm.8399 True. In 1066 if I recall correctly.

In your Dreams 🤣
The only Modern armored vehicule that can be destroy by a rpg 7 are made in russia (if it was possible to use modern to described russian made vehicule )
Cordialement
Serval 100 km/h 😳🤨 I would have thought at least 110 - 180 km/h Max.
Its the official announce not the real one on experiment i think
Ça sert à rien un blindé qui va à 180km/h
@@victor6814 Bah oui je me suis dis ça 🤣
Also vielleicht nicht kopiert, sondern gekauft...

those vehicles are clearly too heavy to use tires !
They are not. The concept is already battle proven in Africa.
@Carbon no just a former soldier who served in Mali in a VAB. I let you google what is a VAB. At least you would have learned something today.
@@leonidasthermopylae3378 @carbon ...would literally wash your A$$ everyday had he been in military especially in a place like mali .
France uses heavy wheeled vehicles since the 30's and didn't abandon it for tracks during the cold war. The fact that many armies now build and use heavy wheeled vehicles, even tanks, prooves that the French were and are right in their doctrine
@Roger yes, I knew it, they enginered the first one ever built on the Renault FT tank.
LOL! Ukraine is just squandering their MRAPs especially the Bushmasters given by the Aussies
much better equipped tanks, tracked infantry fighting vehicle are being butchered in ukraine. I wonder, what these humongous jeep like vehicles will echieve againts a well equipped army. Yes, if you ara fighting againts malitia which does not have anti tank systems and air force, these will do.
What is your alernative genius? Walk.
FYI no ground vehicles anywhere in the world will survive anti tank weapons, artillery, etc... What is your point?
These are troop carriers. Troops would rather get to battlefield air conditionned with some basic protection against IED and small arms fire.
Much better equipped tanks?? Leclerc is a top product, with good combat record. It performed better then Abrams in Yemen... And the troop carriers are the norm nowadays for good reason. Combined arms operrations and the integrated digital battlefield are the key to successs.
So you are trying to say that even Russian military vehicles are only suitable for guerillas?
1) A Leclerc🇫🇷 is already superior to the T-90S🇷🇺.
2) An EBRC Jaguar🇫🇷 is superior to both the Boomerang 8x8🇷🇺.
3) Serval 4x4🇫🇷 are same class as Kamaz-53949 4x4🇷🇺
4) The Griffon 6x6🇫🇷 is like the Kamaz 6396 6x6🇷🇺
I would like to point out that these vehicles are advertised as combat vehicles, not as troop carries like same commerters stated. If you are fighting against a modern army, I would doubt that anyone will want to be in these huge humongous vehicles which can be hit by any infantry weapon, rockets, anti tank missiles, genarades etc., from great distances. I do not even count what really armored vehicles such as tanks or anti tank guns can do these vehicles. They stand out clearly from greater distances. Though, russian equipment is old, they do one thing right, they are not tall. To defend againts ied and mines, vehicles become much larger and tall, but now they become easily target from distance. French army, is not fighting any serious war for years, just local militia with conventional weapons in africa. Yes, these will do againts them. But againts an enemy with every means, I would not stepping into these vehicles to go into combat. I would be better off walking.
@@nathanruben3372 you clearly didn't listen to what they said in the video and you don't seem to understand the needs of the Ukrainians very well.
The salesmen clearly presented both Griffon and Serval as APCs carrying a complete platoon/combat group. The Jaguar is a combat vehicle, able to butcher any IFV and also tanks with its capability to fire beyond LOS.
Their height protect the Jaguar and the Griffon from mines/IEDs, which are massively used in Ukraine.
At a time of drones, infrared googles, loitering ammunitions and advanced ATGMs, the size of a vehicle in order to avoid a shot isn't relevant anymore.
But protecting your soldiers from mines, shell splinters and giving them more vision plus the ability to fire under armor make sense to me.
The Ukrainians would dream to have "tall" APCs that really protect them from schrapnel and mines (spoiler: BMPs and BTRs look armored but they aren't, same goes for Humvees)
