I'm absolutely in love with the french army, from their camo to their doctrine making heavy use of wheeled tank destroyers, I absolutely love it. Strategy/Doctrine, Equipment, everything.

@@frank-ko6de their doctrine requires high agility as means of protection, only armour won't save nobody. In the vast countryside of france, mobility is key. So yes, I do like the different medium-heavy wheeled platforms and unarmored/lightly armoured platforms of the French Ground Forces.

Its one thing for airborne unit to use this for ease of transportation. but for a coventional ground units, its another matter. Yes, but they can add elements on the base color depending on the terrain.
The font remains the same (that brownish they call "Terre de France"), then they put additional pattern/stickers on it depending on the terrain.

AMX-10 RC est un véhicule de reconnaissance offensive, ce n'est pas UN CHAR DE COMBAT, a bon entendeur.....

Un VR (vehicule de reconnaissance), un VBTT (vehicule blindé de transport de troupe) ou VCI (vehicule de combat d'infanterie) reste avant tout un blindé de combat. AMX-10 a un blindage tres vulnerable et peu efficace...et a été jugé... tres mal protegé par les Ukraniens! Ne faites pas du Xavier tytelman...soyez lucide mon tres cher... vous etes prévenu......
Tout le matériel français et les français en guerre aux côtés des nazis ukrainiens attendent le sort des troupes napoléoniennes, 90% resteront morts en Russie .C'était le cas , c'est le cas, et ce sera le cas. Rappelez-vous ceci! Vous n'avez rien à faire en Russe
C'est un véhicule des années 70 remplacé par le Jaguar progressivement, il n'était pas censé combattre dans une guerre d'une telle intensité, il est d'une autre époque.

The commander of the 37th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy in an interview with AFP said that the light wheeled tanks AMX-10 RC delivered to Ukraine are impractical in the offensive because of their thin armor.
"As a result of the explosion of a 152-mm artillery shell next to such a tank, fragments penetrated through the armor. In one of these cases, the entire crew was killed," he summed up.
AMX-10 it's for recon not for attack...
How many times do we have to say that this is a reconnaissance vehicle and not a tank? Of course it's not good for offensive operations, because it's never meant to be one. Yeah, if you don't use a vehicle for its intended purpose, things are bound to go south, shocker I know.

anectotal point by a commander who is an idiot. This is a light cavalry unit, ie a mobile unit meant for recon, flanking manoeuvres and harrassment behind enemy lines, etc...
It is not a main battle tank meant to breach enemy entrenched positions in a frontal assault, neither is it designed to just sit there and camp waiting for artillery strikes.
And yet in an UNITED24 video we have Ukrainian soldiers praising the AMX-10RC for it's speed, nimbleness and firepower. As the correspondent in the same video commented, the AMX-10RC is excellent for recon, raids, breakthroughs and even as indirect arty support. One unit was so beloved by her Ukrainian crew that they christened it "Raccoon" Shout out to Dmytro, the crew of the "Raccoon" and the Ukrainian 88th Marine Battalion. Slava Ukraini!
