Did you know that if you want to make some 3d platforms, you cant do that because this uses raycasting, and raycasting thinks that everything is a wall.

Instead of making it a variable, make it a list
Make a list in the variables and name it distance

I might be wrong, but for the project to work, the 'Sense' and the 'Draw' custom blocks in the sensing and drawing objects must be running without screen refresh.

that would be impossible in this type in 3d since rooms in doom have their own floor and ceiling levels whereas in this type of 3d the height of the floors and ceilings are fixed to the top and bottom of the screen
